- The room sizes are quite disappointing. The space is so limited that I couldn’t even open my luggage bag properly. Although the hotel advertises a raised bed designed to provide extra storage underneath, maneuvering a heavy bag in and out is impractical. - The toilet entrance is obstructed by unusually high steps, which seem more like a barrier than a thoughtful design. - Inside, the toilet itself is extremely cramped, making it uncomfortable to sit even for someone of average size.

Pillows too hard and breakfast did not accommodate for all tastes. Not much variety of choice for us who do not eat Asian inspired foods for breakfast. Very disappointed and we did not go for breakfast on the second morning.

The bathroom faucet has to be held on or turned too high to stay on. Using the sink tap at this high flow rate, you can't help but splash on yourself and the floor. The pillows are awful. The outside is crunchy (even through the soft pillowcase) and the filling feels like dried beans. Not comfortable at all. Lobby is cramped and has no seating. You cannot wait here for your room to be ready. Even if your room is ready early, you will be charged extra if you take it before the 3:00 check-in time.

Very nice room, clean and modern. Well maintained. We had a Renovated Double Room with Small Double Bed. The room is scaled down in size like those on a cruise ship. (Still, it was bigger than our room in Tokyo.) To make the most of the space, there are lots of hooks for your things and space under the bed for luggage. Shelf on headboard for your phone and small things. Drinking glasses and coffee supplies in desk drawer. The bathroom faucet flips to either sink or tub. Tap water is drinkable. Mattress is a bit too firm for our taste but still comfortable. Duvet is super soft and fluffy. Dimmable bedside lamp. One USB port. Big TV over bed. Not a smart TV but we were able to plug our Roku into an HDMI port although there is no extra electrical outlet near the TV. We like our room to be cool at night for sleeping, even in January. Air conditioning worked well. Room is cleaned every 3 days. Fresh towels and supplies are provided daily. Great walkable location.

The room is very small, and the hotel didn’t have a lobby, which in many cases helps avoid feeling cramped in the room.

The hotel is simple but very well located in Dotonbori—you can easily walk around Osaka’s shopping and dining areas. The room was one of the smallest we saw in Japan, very tight, but the bed is comfortable and, at the end of the day, all you want is to arrive and rest. It’s also close to Namba Station, which makes it convenient for visiting nearby or even more distant places.

Room was a bit hot, didn't seem to have air conditioning as an option since it's still technically winter and opening the window was noisy since Dotonbori is so close by.

Fantastic location, a block from Dotonbori, and a few minutes from the train station, getting around was super easy, and tons of great food options nearby (with the window closed noise was never an issue).
