Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsNot well isolated. Is located in a busy and noisy area so you could hear some noise from the street

SingaporeThough 2 pillows are given, only one is comfy to sleep on as it's rather stiff and flat. It would be better if 2xbottled drinking water are provided daily whenever the room is cleaned up upon request. The room space is still too cramp and small for 2 persons luggages and bags+ shopping bags. Also the TV English programs are very limited to only BBC. It would be helpful to provide a list of English channels like CNA or ABC or maybe KBS with english subtitles. Wish there was a onsen or public bath like the one in APA Tokyo.
I like the wall decor, firm bed, warm quit blanket, temperature control and cleanliness of the room. There were sufficient amenities like tissues, trash bins, slippers(2 types), toiletries & the pretty origami crane.

United KingdomThe room is extremely small for 2 people and the luggage needs to be stored under the bed. When taking anything out of the luggage, there was little room to do so. Bathroom is extremely small and can only cater to skinny and/or petite people. The drying machine takes a long time to dry and the only utilises 100yen, no change can be used. This was noted on the Japanese only sign on the machine and we didnt read it so be WARNED. The room is best for a single bed room instead or a double bed and felt slightly like a dormitory for university students.
The location is very convenient to walk into Dotonburi. The check in and out process was excellent, we needed a bit of assistance with the check in and the staff were excellent even with little to no English. The laundry facilities were great although there is a wait as there is only 2 washing machines and 2 dryers. The room was of a good standard in its furnishings and extremely clean. I would highly recommend this place for people on a budget but want to be close to the Dotonburi area.

New ZealandWalls are extremely thin and I could always hear people coming and going at the elevator, as well as people slamming their doors. My room was also right opposite the cleaner's cupboard and two fire exit doors which people seem to freely use judging by the noise, so I'd hear the cleaners preparing and coming/going constantly, as well as people constantly using the fire exit doors and stairs late at night.
Real good location with heaps of food, convenience stores and a laundromat nearby. Real close to Dotonbori. Staff were polite and helpful, however they won't call you a taxi if you ask for help, which can feel a bit daunting if you're a foreigner that doesn't speak Japanese. But taxis are always driving past the hotel so you should be able to flag one down outside, otherwise just walk up to the main road.

IndiaThe ac control was either too cold or not cold at all. But this could be a singular problem in the room I was staying at. They have no iron box for ironing of clothes but only a trouser iron which takes a lot of time... about 20 minutes to get warm, another 10-20 mins to iron and is supposed to be used for trousers only.
The hotel is in the heart of Namba Shinsaibashi. Everything from the best showrooms, streetfood, izakayas and subway station is just minutes away walking distance. The hotel itself offers a number of services like vod, spa, laundry, restaurant and coffee shop. Hotel staff is very nice and very well versed in spoken and written English. Plus there are five APA hotels in near vicinity for you to choose from.

United KingdomThe room was quite hot, maybe due to its size, and the road could be a bit noisy at night with the window open. But we had good ear plugs and so it wasn't too much of a problem.
The location of this hotel is fantastic. There's so much on your doorstep. It's fairly easy to get from the airport and not too far from a metro stop. The rooms are small and the bathroom is compact, but both are well kitted out with everything you might need provided. It was slightly complicated with two large rucksacks, but we made it work. The mattress and the pillows were very comfortable; we slept well. The Japanese breakfast each morning was great. There was so much to choose from. There's a laundrette for guests which was handy, although it could get busy at night. All in all, a nice stay and we'd definitely consider staying again if in Osaka.

CanadaHard to say much negative out the hotel itself.... but it is in a pretty seedy area with 3 rub and tugs directly beside it as well as large love hotel across the road. So if these are issues for you, you might not like this one.
Very good location near the station and several sites in the area. The hotel was very new and very clean, but the rooms are very small, however, the price was pretty low.

NetherlandsBathroom was kind of hot? There was a heater in the mirror that I couldn't figure out how to turn off. Bath was also kind of small. Cleaning also started a bit early, at 9, which would wake me up since the rooms weren't quite soundproof and sounds from the hallway could be heard in the room. Thankfully it was a pretty quiet hotel overall. All in all, it was good quality for the price.
The location was absolutely perfect. Right next to Dotonbori and the station, but not next to a busy street so less noise and crowdedness. The room was good as well, small like most Japanese rooms, but perfect for me alone and very comfortable and clean. Airconditioning was thankfully available in the room, since it was still very hot despite being October. Luggage storage services were also provided. We didn't include breakfast as there were plenty of bakeries and other food options nearby.
