Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomLong queue for automatic check-in @3pm. Lots of one way road and GPS in the car is lost because of high rise buildings? Or difficult for the city to handle the crowds for expo? Worst driving experiences for 3 weeks so far in Japan. I would stay outside of the city and leave the car in the countryside. I hope the hotel warned me in advance.

AustraliaVery strict check in policy. I arrived at 2:30 from Tokyo and was told check in is from 3pm. Most hotels especially international hotels allow some flexibility but not here. By 3pm there were approximately 40 customers waiting to check in so even though some customer had been there for one hour or more, then they were delayed to check in because of the queue.
Location is great with direct connection to Midosuji subway line that connect you to the rest of Osaka easily. The convenience store on the 2nd floor was also great for the traveller but I wonder how much F&B revenue the hotel is missing out on as its very convenient to go and by cheap breakfast or beverage without paying hotel prices.

Hong Kongthe lifts. always full, always line up, take forever for them to come, then it stops on almost all floors because everyone is using them. that's a really big problem of this hotel in my opinion
centrally located, with dedicated exit from metro station directly linked to the hotel. quiet neighbourhood yet a lot to see and do around if you go explore. walking distance to popular tourist attractions (traps haha). good to have a convenient store right inside the hotel, don't need to leave the building for that which is good if it's rainy or too cold or too hot outside.

BrazilNot really a bad thing on the hotel but even tho I was on the top floor I could clearly hear the cars on the street outside, especially at night when there was less noise. But it was just once in a while, I honestly don't have any complains about the whole time I stayed at the hotel.
I had a small problem during check-in and the staff at front desk was very very helpful with everything to help with my problem and the whole team on the hotel is nothing but amazing! It was my first time staying at a APA but definitely recommend this one for anyone visiting Osaka!

IrelandIt's a bit of a noisy area, although it is right in the middle of downtown Osaka; there's a little traffic noise that seems to get in through the ventilation though, whenever there's loud motorbikes or emergency services going past. It's not hugely loud, but it's there. The room wifi was really slow, I tried it and then just switched to using the hired wifi device I had with me instead. The room wasn't very big, fine for one person, I think this is kind of standard in Japan though, at least in Osaka and Tokyo.
Great easy to get to location (there's literally a metro in the basement). Breakfast was a little pricey but nice and with loads of options. I didn't try the spa or pool, but they're probably good. Everything was really clean and staff were very nice. Oh the shower was really good!

United KingdomThe bathrooms in the rooms are quite small, so some people may find them very hard to use. The inside of the building is empty too, so if you have a fear of heights like myself, choose a room on lower floors!
Everything was prepared very well, clean and great quality. The rooms came with everything that could help you relax during your stay- from tea, coffee, kettle and slippers to yukata, razors and shower caps. The information about available amenities and services in the resort is everywhere if you want it.
