Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

United KingdomThere was nowhere to sit or meet in the tiny lobby. The breakfast space was a little diner that shared the same building, and didn't look suitable for a hotel. The breakfast options didn't look great and we looked elsewhere. The rooms were basic and tiny and the bathrooms were not well ventilated.
Great location with so many eating and shopping options right on the doorstep. Very bustling part of the old town and has a local authentic feeling. Close to Ueno, a main transit hub, and another nearby subway station so have easy access to many train lines. Beds were comfy.

United StatesOnce it was cold outside, the room will be warm or warmer depending on your use of the a/c (the warmer option) since the hitel will switch the entire central systems depending weather. I can only sleep well in a cold room. So the last 2-3 nights of my stay was a bit rough. My mother, however, celebrated that I could not freeze the room anymore lol.
Second time on this propert! Despite it being far busier this time around, the staff and location are still worth the stay.

We were a bit confused at the beginning because there are 3 APA Hotels in the Ueno area. Our hotel was in the middle of the tourist district about 7 min from the Ueno park. The room was a bit small, the bed was comfortable, the bath and shower were great! There is a microvawe and a drinks machine on the ground floor. Overall, very good for a short stay.
