Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

SingaporeThe room is extremely small. Hardly any breathing space. It was really a room to shower, sleep and leave. Nothing else.
Love the onsen offered upstairs and little tub to soak in the open. Because it was an hotel with public bath, it fulfilled what I wanted. To soak myself everyday after long walks and travels. They are very generous with their towels and bath robes, toiletries. Even their shower gel smells so good that I decided to skip using my own.

United StatesPersonally, we did not love the Ueno area. It’s not friendly to tourists. Otherwise it was a great hotel.
Good amenities. They don’t clean the room daily, but they change the towels daily. We put do not disturb on the door and they still left towels for us which was very nice of them! They also provide one water bottle per person. The location is close to the Ueno train station and there is a 7-eleven with a seating area one block away.

I stayed only one night before my flight as it is next to the Keisei Ueno Station. Nice hotel with good onsen. Be aware that APA has 3 similar hotels around.

Great location near Ueno station. Small but comfortable room for solo traveler. Everything is pretty much as you would expect from APA Hotel. The Hotel staff were able to hold my luggage until late on the checkout date. Late checkout is done super easy using room TV.
