Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

BelgiumThe door of the room opens into an open hallway. This can mean noise during the night as the hotel is in the middle of Kabukicho 'action'. This APA does not have an onsen on the top floor like the one just 100 meters away. There is only one elevator, which can mean a bit of waiting.
Very good location at a good price if you want to stay in Kabukicho. The luggage space under the bed is very handy. Free video on demand options are available.

GermanyThe system of changing the linen every three days, and the towels every day outside the door is quite complicated and sometime useless. A request to change towels when needed would be more efficient and environmental sustainable.
To the eyes of a European the room is quite small, but it is expected in Tokyo. Despite the size, the room is functional and comfortable. The location is AMAZING.

Great location in the heart of Shinjuku but our room was still exceptionally quiet. Full marks for that and also the near proximity of the rail station.
