How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Would not be a good option for those looking to go in and out of the city/sightseeing as it is quite far out. Very much an airport hotel, but a good one.
Location perfect for those needing to be near the airport - only a few minutes walk from the station. Lots of food options nearby. Older building means bigger room and bathroom than all the other APAs I've stayed at which was a nice surprise. Laundry room available, though I didn't use it.

The beer as a welcome present . The fact that the room contained everything one can think of and the quiet. I arrived late, after a long flight and all I needed was agoodnight sleep and It's just what I got.

Was very close to the Car-Rental hub and also close to very good local restaurants. The room was just fine and keep the APA Standards as the other hotels from the franchise.

The APA chain is always good value, the staff are always incredibly helpful, facilities are everything you need for the price etc. The room I had in this particular hotel the aircon was not working well - fortunately it was not summer! Location was perfect for an early morning flight.

Nothing - everything was fantastic.
APA Hotels are always fabulous value for money. We stayed here after landing at Haneda late in the evening and the hotel is a short train ride from the airport. The rooms are clean and well equipped with amenities and black out curtains which make a huge difference when you're very tired. The staff were helpful and very efficient. The neighbourhood was also very good - the train station is nearby and there's a supermarket directly across the road from the hotel which is open late.

The position was great, 2 minutes away from the monorail station that takes you everywhere in Tokyo. Moreover, just around the hotel there are a lot of typical shops to eat and spend some good japanese time. Also the room was great, just like japanese standards.

Very late check in time and very early check out time for Haneda travellers. Don't expect a lot for the breakfast but there's not really much to complain given that the breakfast starts as early as at 5am.

It would help customer satisfaction if this Hotel was a little flexible on check-in and check-out times. The costs for extra occupancy time are extortionate. Please allow at least half an hour either way free of charge! Only a few guests will make use of this.

Was not able to stay at the hotel
Staff were very friendly and polite. An issue happened with the booking such that our stay was not able to be accommodated. The staff booked us into a sister hotel and payed for our taxi to the new location. Very great job and wonderful staff

Nice clean hotel, 3 minutes to railway station, 10 minutes to the airport. Lots of single-use stuff (toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers etc.) in the room:)

The size of the room is very small.
The location is perfect for Haneda Airport Terminal 3. I can go by train without any difficulties.

The man working at the front desk repeatedly addressed my husband, despite the fact that it was my name on the booking, credit card and that I was the one speaking with him.
The location was great, close to the station and very easy to get to the airport. There was also convenience stores nearby. It was in a nice neighbourhood. The hotel and room were clean and had good amenities such as a microwave which came in useful.

The staff were professional and I could leave my baggage with them during the day. Room was very small but adequate, good amenities. Very close to the airport (5 mins on train!)
