There aren’t many shops or restaurants nearby unless you are up for a cold walk.

The best thing is the onsen on the top floor - a little luxury to start and end your day!

The room is extremely small, only about 13 sqm with bathroom in it. We have 2 big luggage and 2 small one, can only open 1 at a time and no room for me to walk around in the room.

The location is great, the hotel looks nice, the room is clean and tidy. Love the bath tub in the room, the Japanese robe is also very nice.

Changing room at the communal bath for female was very small and clouded. Provided toner and moisturizer were unexpectedly not good.

Convenient location and communal bath. Bottle of cold water in the room was nice. Temperature of the bath were very good and having two different bath outside were nice and relaxing.

The room was clean and good quality with replacement of towels, bed linen and generous supply of bottled mineral water. Location is close to a metro stations, so getting around is easy. I would highly recommend this place for a stay Tokyo!

The Standard double room is VERY compact. Not really much room to allow for comfort when two people are sharing.

The room was VERY small. My partner and I were practically being contortionists whenever one of us had to open a suitcase or even open the fridge.

The location was great, just a short train ride to Shibuya, but at the same time far away enough so that it was never crowded outside. The staff were also friendly.

There are no cabinets, shelves, or drawers in the room to unpack. However, suitcases slide easily under the bed and there are about 6-8 hooks on the wall and on either side of the mirror. The bed was a little hard for my liking, but my daughter was fine with it. It was difficult to get the room a comfortable temperature. (We were there in December.) We would turn the heat on to the lowest temp possible - 16 degrees, and it would become too warm and stuffy. We left it off most of the time except when we first came in from outside and for a few minutes in the mornings. Without the heat on, the room would be cool, but not cold. The bathroom, however, was never heated. It was never so cold to be miserable, but it was several degrees cooler than the room and occasionally we would have liked a warmer bathroom. It was cold outside the rooms in the common areas. I won't call them hallways because they were too wide for that and we think they were open air, but we aren't sure because we were on a low floor and didn't bother to confirm.

The hotel is very conveniently located, just steps from a metro station with two lines. That station is connected to another station with two other lines. The station is accessible by escalators. It's a very safe and quiet location just next to a beautiful, large, important shrine. (Also accessible via escalator) It's a very short walk across a broad street to a neighborhood with lots of cafes and restaurants. If you want a hotel in the middle of things, with cafes and restaurants just outside the doors of the hotel, this isn't it, however. There's another hotel next door where we saw the airport limo bus one day but there is little else in the immediate area. The room is very clean and well-kept. It has everything you might need, from a fridge, a coffee maker, sufficient electrical outlets including USB plugs, and all the typical toiletries plus a lot more. You can control all lights without getting out of bed. It has a full length mirror. The room is small, but my daughter and I shared it for 8 nights without any issues. As near as I can tell based on my research, the room was not small by Japan standards. The lobby is lovely and the check-in/check-out process was incredibly efficient. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The breakfast wasn't worth the additional cost, Worse than similar APA hotels, poor selection and veriaty. I expected similar offerings to other hotel in the same group and brand.
