The room layout was nice and comfortable, the tatami loft was good to relax in. Location right on the station, central to many attractions. Breakfast was tasty and the staff were helpful.

United KingdomWould have liked some choice with the breakfast to accommodate dietary restrictions. We could hear the trains at night, which kept waking up my partner. Also couldn't easily open suitcases due to the room layout.
Really clean and modern hotel with a very central location - ideal for starting the Shimanami Kaido. Also it had all the amenities you could need, incl. washing facilities which were very useful.

United KingdomAs other reviews mentioned that the rooms were very small, we upgraded to a queen superior after our original booking. The superior queen room we upgraded to was still quite small. But we were there for the outdoors and rested very well. But it was quite expensive compared to other hotels on our trip.
The location was excellent and perfect for the part of our trip where we went cycling. Staff were accommodating and friendly. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We slept very well with no noise disturbances that previous reviews have mentioned.

FranceThe room was an odd shape meaning there was little room between the bed and the wall. Perhaps that couldn't be helped, but the positioning of the only mirror in the room (in the bathroom) at navel height, was quite weird.
This hotel is very stylish, and the staff were all very welcoming. Breakfast was good, although not a buffet. Location was fantastic, really near to the port and the starting point for the Shimanami Kaido.

AustraliaYou can't beat this place on location full stop. You tap your IC card at the station and the stairs/elevator are right there to the hotel on the floor above. Don't worry about noise we could see down the station platform from our room and never heard a train. Once you do leave the hotel there are food, bike hire and ferry within a few 100m of the hotel. Sad we only had the one night. Staff were amazing. Private onsen/hot bath was great.

AustraliaThis was the best accomodation we had for our entire 3 week trip! The room had an elevated tatami mat area with back rests and a view over the harbour which was so comfortable and perfect spot to relax. Bed was really big and comfy, and this is the only hotel where we had a walk in shower not in a bathtub. Perfect location as well - on top of the station but still quiet and easy walk to all the restaurants. Staff were all really friendly and helpful.

SingaporeThe Nespresso machine water container appeared to have a leak as we noticed water on the table subsequently. Having English news channels on tv would be a bonus.
Loved the high ceilings in the room. Strong shower. Clean room and nice design, and thoughtful touches like bedroom slippers, many charging sockets. Breakfast was also enjoyable and well presented. Location superb being right by train station - great that windows well insulated so minimal train noise experienced.
