Extremely dirty, zero house rules. No staff, dust so bad caused severe allergies. They clearly never clean.

Not so clean. There's no reception and no sign at all so it's really hard to find the place. It's strangely called Sogi hostel.

Location. You get a towel, slippers and toothbrush for free. You can store stuff in the fridge. There's a microwave also and like 3 or 4 showers.

As many guests have mentioned, it’s dirty and messy, not organized at all. I have stayed at more than 10 hostels in Tokyo but this is absolutely worst. The most important issue is totally absence of staff working there and no reception. New comers are confused not knowing how to check in(instruction by mail is not enough…) It there are staff taking care of room & watching people, guests would use facilities respectfully and room would not be too dirty at least. Otherwise anybody even outsiders can enter hostel easily and pick up any luggage & personal belongings from there . I highly request manager to improve at least security as licensed accommodation.

The check-in information was not delivered correctly to almost any guest. The room smelled foul and unhygienic. There was no allocated room or locker for luggage. Guests ate in their beds and spilled their food around. The cleaning staff tossed our stuff to the floor and left it there while we were out. We literally preferred to sleep at the airport over spending one more night in there.

The hosts respond in a timely manner.

People making lots of noise so you can't sleep, very unpleasant and dirty,no reception it's like a halfway house,small area so you can't move around,homeless people staying there. Avoid,pay abit more for a good experience in Tokyo.

The door makes sound when people enter and can make it hard to sleep well.

Price is very good and the area is great. I like that even though it is a hostel you have curtain for some privacy.

Around 16 people in one room. The worse part is that the room space is so tight. Everyone coughing, Covid or whatever they have. It’s a virus factory. No air conditioner or purifier. The fridge is disgusting dirty. And people loud with for slamming and so on.

Beside sugamo station. Nice location. Near convenient store, mcdonalds and izikaya. The bed space is quit high i can almost stand inside it (higher bunk bed space than dorm i stayed in Japan). Worth the money

The rooms smelled like someone’s disgusting food all the time. People snore like animals. Was truly disgusting. Everything smelled bad. The bathrooms have urine engrained in the walls. They charge excessive cleaning fee and still don’t clean piss stained walls

The place is a bit hard to find as there is no nameboard outside. Follow the Google maps closely.

Simple dormitory with a bed and basic facilities for spending nights on the cheap in Tokyo. Close access to Yamanote means city centres such as Ikebukuro and Shibuya are well within reach, and the place is also very easy to reach from the Haneda Airport. The people I met during my stay were nice. Though if you are a light sleeper then it might be a little difficult as people are going in and out of the room regularly, but other than that everyone mind their own business.
