AustraliaGreat little “airport” hotel located one train stop from Kansai airport & 450m within train station if you don’t want to go back to Osaka. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Associated facilities including outdoor onsen overlooking the bay a plus. The most amusing check-in I’ve done. Thought I’d be stuck in a typical airport hotel but surrounding seaside walk, park, even a ferris wheel beckoned exploration prolonging that holiday feel.

CanadaThe main reason I booked was because of the onsen. I was only made aware of their no tattoo policy a few hours before check in by which time it was non refundable. An international hotel, close to a major airport that has many international guests should rethink this ridiculous policy. Tattoos are art, not an outdated image of gang violence. They should at least be more upfront with this policy and not mention it in an email 2 hours before. I visited a few onsen in Japan, some of which were in the middle of nowhere, and had no problems. Also the gimmicky check in is completely naff.
This is a very nice hotel and I've rated it so low because I didn't know about the no tattoos policy in the onsen until I recieved an email 2 hours prior to check in.

JapanThe only thing I didn't like was the lack of breakfast choices. I also thought that it was unfortunate that although we are by International Airport, you still can not use the spa amenities with tattoos.
I enjoyed how close rinku-town station was. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was really good as well! The staff was very kind and helped my husband and I when getting accommodations, and cleaning up the room we enjoyed coming back to a clean room.

SingaporeDistance to the train station is daunting if you have a lot of luggage. Open air onsen for the ladies was closed. Room had a very nasty stench that I had to buy an air freshener spray and it still didn't completely mask the smell. Curtains looked dirty and stained.
Room was of a decent size. Enjoyed the manga selection at the onsen. Very close to the hypermart if you're down for late night shopping.

The onsen was wonderful! Definitely get the breakfast set - I was confused at first, but the restaurant is actually inside the spa area, so change into the spa clothes and slippers they provide you, and head down for breakfast with a gorgeous view of the bay. Then head into the onsen which has both indoor and outdoor areas with the same amazing bay view. I felt pleasantly separated from the real world the entire time.

First time experiencing checking in and greeted by a robotic dinosaur. Felt a bit weird initially, however guest of the hotel eventually would understand that it is actually self checked in. No human touch were required during check in and checking out process as it is fully automated. Checking out was seamless, straight forward and fast.

Hong Kongcheckin and service was very limited. Big misunderstanding experienced on ordering taxi to airport causing us nearly missing the flight. Because of poor communication, staff ordered taxi 1 hour early; the taxi driver was waiting and extremely angry at us while we had no clue what was happening. driver wanted to charge us double the price, hotel staff did not apologize or help to resolve the problem we had to rush to hotel on our own and messing up all our plans. terribly unpleasant situation
