I had an excellent stay at Beppu Hatto Onyado Nono Beppu. The room was clean, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. I especially enjoyed the private onsen, which was a relaxing highlight of my stay. The tatami floors throughout the property added a unique and authentic Japanese touch. There were also so many great free amenities, like ramen at night, free coffee and matcha, as well as probiotic drinks and ice pops, which were a nice bonus. The staff were very accommodating and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience in Beppu.

The parking was difficult to find and access. Ended up using nearby parking as it was easier access and cheaper.

I appreciated that the separated bath rooms with open air did not require any reservations. The free icecream and mango pudding were also a very pleasant surprise. The decor was very nice and everything was very clean.

There are too many foreign tourists and they don't read the signs to use the public baths. Japanese are the minority of guests and don't feel comfortable due to foreign manners.

The breakfast was amazing. Definitely I will try again if I use it again. The service and quality were amazing and reasonable. It is better than other hotels around the beppu station.

You'll have to be quick to get a spot in one of the private onsen rooms, there's almost no chance no grab one during peak hours. The public baths get extremely crowded during those hours as well.

Simply fantastic, we had a wonderful time here. Room was clean and large, and breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of Japanese cuisine. Location was great, barely a 5 minute walk from Beppu station. Amenities are very guest-friendly, and you can even check the availability of the private onsen baths with their television. A comfortable and modernized stay.

The hotsprings and the room are really nice. The staff is fluent in english. Would definitely recommend. Tattoo friendly as they have private hotsprings. Do take note that there are wait times for the private ones.

The room itself was a little small which is not unusual in Japan, but I thought that maybe our appearance led them to give us one of the not so good rooms in the hotel. However, it is an excellent hotel

Beppu is a large town so the location right next to the railway station and bus terminus is excellent. It is also on a lively street with bars and restaurants nearby. Most of the Onsen are a short bus ride or drive away. I really enjoyed the Japanese styling and tradition of the hotel. It is the first hotel I have ever stayed at where they make you clean the wheels of your luggage before entering. it is exceptionally clean. The rooftop onsen are a nice touch. Free coffee and ice creams are also available for everyone. I would book it in a heartbeat over a western branded hotel chain.

Everything about this hotel from start to finish was wonderful. I arrived right at 3pm for check-in. The staff was welcoming. I put my shoes in the shoe locker and walked on tatami mats throughout the hotel in the Japanese socks they provided. My room was absolutely spotless, well-equipped with standard Japanese hotel room items and included a towel rack which was helpful after going to the onsens and it also had a great view. I put on my loungewear and headed to the onsens. Both group and 7 private onsens were varied with open-air and white water and different sizes. A few massage chairs were also available and free snacks were provided throughout the day. The location of this hotel is perfect. It's a two-minute walk from Beppu train station. There were plenty of cute restaurants, shops, bars, convenience stores and even a movie theatre in the immediate area. My bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The next morning was an incredible breakfast buffet. There was an unbelievable variety it was delicious. The hotel appears to be new. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here if you are coming to Beppu. Location, cleanliness, delicious food, lovely onsens, and comfortable bed. Everything was fabulous. I would gladly stay there again.

Great location steps from Beppu Station JR and close to many restos and shopping. Waterfront was a 5 min walk. The inhouse onsens were the highlight - outdoor and indoor AND private onsens for use. I didn't even use the shower in my room at all. Free washing. Loved the tatami all over the hotel. Staff was super friendly.
