    Nothing

We really enjoyed our stay in this charming converted storage house, and it turned out to be the perfect retreat for two. The cozy space featured a well-equipped kitchen, making it easy to prepare meals. With the heat pump and additional heaters, it was super warm and inviting, despite the cold winter outside. Parking right in front was a real luxury in Japan, and a big plus for us. While the 8-minute walk to the center could be a bit challenging in the winter wearing the geta with sock, it was a lovely way to cool down after a relaxing soak in the onsen. The hosts provided everything we needed for the onsen experience, and their hospitality truly enhanced our stay. Kinosaki is particularly charming at night, and although it might not be my favorite spot in Japan, spending a night to explore the town is definitely worthwhile. The onsens may not be the best in the country either, but they offer a wonderful experience, especially when walking around in a yukata!!! Overall, this hidden gem is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a unique experience in a beautiful setting. I highly recommend it!

    Nothing. It was perfect.

Wow. It was amazing. The perfect place. Smelled amazing too because of the cedar. The host even left us Christmas cookies! There was a Christmas tree set up! The details and personal touches were so well thought out. I loved that we were encouraged/invited to wear the shoes and yukatas(?) to the Onsens. It was lovely and cozy. We were all so impressed. The owner was so nice. It felt like you were staying in a pristine cabin. It was a calming and clean environment.

Some beams are a little low if you are a little taller - watch your head! 😉

Wonderful old structure, repurposed into quaint accommodation. Convenient and private location. Friendly and easy check in. Recommended.

It was great. We liked that it was not in the middle of the main part of town though some not.

The host was friendly, waiting for us when we arrived, showed us around and clearly very proud of their property. It was clean, modern, yet had old feel. Full kitchen downstairs. All beds upstairs.

Your perfect own home in Kinosaky Onsen !!

    Everything's great !!

The accommodation is a whole house for rent, two floors: living, kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor, the bedroom upstairs. It's a great option for both, families traveling 4 pax and a couple (or two friends) as well. A little far from the village center and hot springs, but just few minutes walking from the rail station. The house is brand new, fully furnished, the apartment is super clean and the air-con is available both floors. The draft beer machine on duty is definitely a plus !! The hosts are the most kind and lovely people we have meet in Japan !! There's a little brewery and sake shop on the street side, the house is located in the courtyard on the back, the parking is available on the side. There's everything you need and the best option for a bit longer stay and it will be your perfect own home in Kinosaky Onsen !!
