Close to main train station, wide rooms compared to Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. Nice friendly staff . I have not tried breakfast as I think it was a bit pricey, but since I have not tried it, cannot comment on it.

Although the property is non smoking, I think that they are still struggling with the smell of smoke from the bygone days. My room has a faint smell of cigarette smoke but this did not bother me.

Very affordable property with good amenities (slippers, toiletries, laundry room). The bed is comfortable and the room is large for Japan. The property is conveniently located 8 minute3 away from the train station. Check-in staff members are lovely and helpful.

Wasn’t sure whether the room I got was double bed but it was tough to fit into people in that small space. Also, the pillows have like pebbles in them. It wasn’t my style but this is only nitpicking.

Room was bigger than average. Quite near the Nagano train station and lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Great secure facility to leave luggage after checkout which skiers can take advantage of. We didn’t,but felt it was really thoughtful of the hotel to provide the service. drink bar at the lobby where you can relax and chill while deciding what to do for the day. Kudo as well to the staff member who made their recommendation for us to go to nearby Togakushi ski resort, we really appreciate this insight as the place wasn’t touristy at all, which is what we wanted.

- very spacious room and functional design - great location next to main station - even though it’s next to station the room was very well insulated and you couldn’t hear any noises

Price of the room was half the price at the location then it was on booking com. I accidentally only booked a room with 1 bed instead of 2, so I booked another room on the spot and it wa half the price.

Great location only about 10 min walk from the train station, great shopping and food streets close by. Free coffee in the lobby was nice. And bag storage was handy to be able to explore the day we checked out.

We paid for breakfast which was a really nice spread of western and Japanese food. The room was decent size and had an extra table and chair. There was a free coffee /tea / matcha machine which was available all day. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We had our luggage forwarded to this hotel from Kyoto and when we checked in, they put our luggage in our room!

The room was a generous size compared to most Japanese hotel rooms. The breakfast was exceptional and the breakfast room was very pretty! The staff was as friendly and courteous as we have experienced in Japan. We needed to have our luggage held for a few hours after we checked out and this hotel had locking luggage storage that we could access ourselves. The location was a 5-10 minute walk from the station, so easy to do pulling luggage.

Great location, about 6 min walking from Nagano Station with restaurants nearby. GREAT breakfast (even though it could open a litrle bit earlier). Spatious room, we even had a sofa inside ours. And they have free warm drinks in the reception which was great after coming from the cold outside weather

Highly recommended to stay at this hotel. We like the complimentary coffee facilities in the lobby. Room size is big compared to other hotels in Japan. Friendly staff.

You do have to grab ammenities in the lobby — this includes toiletries, tea, coffee and so on. It would be nice to have these in the room. It’s not a huge issue though!

This is our second time staying at this hotel and we’ve loved it both times. Really good location, lovely staff and large rooms. There’s laundry facilities and a microwave on-site for those late night combini runs.

Hotel is near Nagano Station and easy to find. The room is spacious enough to open our luggage and still be able to move around freely. Good size for bed. Can access apps to watch things online via Smart TV.
