Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SingaporeThe rooms are a little too small, we didn't have space to put our luggage. It's difficult for people like me who are slightly bigger sized to manoeuvre in the room. There were only 2 USB ports but we managed to use another appliance port to charge other stuff.
I liked the hotel atmosphere, the staff were very friendly and we could communicate in English sometimes but other times they are also very patient when we use translation apps to communicate. We had something to be shipped to the hotel and they were very nice to help us collect and pass to us when we went back to the hotel.

Near Disney, not too noisy despite being right beside the train station. Staff was nice. Two choices of restaurants for the included breakfast, both were good.

PhilippinesRoom is a bit small because the bed is large occupying so much space. So not recommended if you have a lot of luggage. You still have to go to the new building for breakfast but food is okay.
It is near the train station if you want to book a place near Tokyo Disneyland... It is 1 station away from the JR line transferring to Tokyo Disneyland train. Like the breakfast buffet.

AustraliaThe place was dirty, full of mould, and has and strong smell of mould. We could not stay in the hotel because of its condition and we requested a refund. As a result we had to rearrange another place for us to stay. The staff were helpful and understanding on canceling my reservation.

CanadaTha advertisment is very misleading. The hotel was called "CVS New Building" but the building is not new (perhaps newly acquired). The carpet in the hallway was covered in tons of stains. The carpet in the room was also dirty, the walls were filthy (drip marks), there were marks on the curtain, and the wallpaper was peeling. The sink in our room squeeled loudly for a few seconds whenever you first ran hot water (fine at night but not great during the night when you're trying to be quiet). Given the size of the room it would have been nice to have a second seat/stool. A microwave would have been nice as well, especially considering there isn't much around the hotel. It would have been nice to have tea and coffee, especially for the price.
The room was large and the bed was very large (though it had no headboard). Breakfast is included; there are two options/restaurants - Chinese or Japanese with western (toast and jam).

MexicoThe place was extremely filthy. It was very uncomfortable to stay there. The carpets were all stained with weird spots and the curtains and shower curtain were super moldy. Over all wouldn’t recommend this place. The sheets didn’t look dirty but after seeing the state of the room it was very difficult for me to sleep comfortably. I stayed there because it was close to Disneyland and cheap but I would not recommend this place to anybody. There were other places only a bit more expensive that you should really consider.

BelgiumThe rooms are not clean at all! There where many suspicious stains on the carpet and the walls. We found hair in and on the bed. There was a pee smell in the bathroom coming from the toilet seat! The breakfast is totally average (despite staff trying their best facing unmannered customers). AVOID!
Except from the friendly staff and close station, nothing!

We can see the train from our window but it's not noisy at all. We can use the nighty, and there are two option kinds of breakfast western and Chinese. Very recommend

IndonesiaThe carpet around the hallway and in my room looks a bit dirty. Although the hotel is 1 minute to JR station, it might be a struggle to get on the train during the rush hour as the station is in the middle of the busy line. The area is near the industrial warehouse complex which makes it lack point of interest or other commercial busineses within the walking distance.
The location was 2 stops from Maihama station which straight takes you to Tokyo Disney Resort. To get to the JR station, you only need to walk around 1 minute from the hotel lobby. The room was cozy, although we didn't booked the room with bunk beds, the room easily accomodate 3 beds for 2 adults and 2 children. They have two options for breakfast, one being served in their chinese restaurant which offer more oriental styled breakfast, while the other more western Japanese breakfast and its inclusive on our stay. They have coin operated washing machines and dryers, so you don't have to worry about having high costs for laundry or having to bring lots of spare clothes. I highly recommend the hotel for a budget oriented family vacation especially if Disneyland is the main reason.
