Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesDiphylleia Grayi was very clean and Diphylleia Grayi. Its location was great for visiting Itsukushima in the morning, and its positioning on the eastern coast gives visitors a chance to watch the sun rise in the Land of the Rising Sun!

BelgiumThe Futon in the Japanese style room were a bit too thin for my taste.
Amazing staff and great location when going to Miyajima. Rooms are small, but very clean and clever use of the space. There is a common area with books, a kitchen and tables.

FranceThe road is literally in front of the house but we slept like babies and it didn't bother us that much.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The view of the sea was stunning and it was near the tram station and the ferry departure. The shared kitchen was very clean and luminous.

JapanThe road to there is a little bit dark in the night and the closest HiroDen (street car) station (Ajina Higashi) can be reach only by the pedestrian bridge with stairs, so it can be difficult for people who bring heavy suitcase. However, the JR station (Ajina) have an elevator so I think it will be fine if they go by there. If they also go by Hiroden Ajina station, there is a pedestrian bridge with road for cyclists and or wheelchair person, so maybe it can be helpful for them.
The owner is very kind. He is a Japanese but can speak English well. And when I told him that I forgot an item on the refrigerator, he said that he will keep it there until I come to take it. It is very kind of him to do that, even though I forgot to write my name as well as my check-in & check-out time on those item (the rules said that we have to do so when we put some food and or drink on the fridge). I feel so grateful and I definitely will stay over there again if I have time and another opportunity to it. Thank you very much.

IndiaThere is no TV in the room. Probably nice to have a TV.
The decor is french style and very beautiful! It's hard to find a place in Japan within this budget that has such a modern architecture... It also has a common area where there's a kitchen. You can cook or get your own food and eat there. It's a good option, especially for vegetarians, as it is hard to find vegetarian food in Japan so they can just get their own food/cook here...There are common utensils that you can use.

JapanShower and bathroom are combined, so the sink is in the shower. It is very small. The quiet hours are from 9pm, but some rude loud guests were talking very loudly at night (surprisingly they were Japanese, so it made me shocked that they didn't know or did not care about the rules). But the staff kindly helped us and told them twice to be quiet. It is a nice place to stay, and for the price, I cannot complain too much.
Staff were friendly, it was a nice location. Communal kitchen area has a beautiful sea-view.
