Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe first thing that stood out to me was that, despite the obvious bright sign at the top of the hotel, it didn't seem immediately obvious where the elevator was. Signage seemed to make the cafe more important than the hotel itself. After that, the lobby was packed with people and the layout is cramped. Once you go around the corner to head for the check-in counter, there is a narrow pathway between the wall and the various sofas, so with people walking around, waiting for check-in, etc, there is no real room or defined area for waiting, entering, and exiting. I see what they're trying to do with the lobby snacks and beer but, come on -- it's creating a different vibe and atmosphere that I just didn't like and I felt it actually made the cost I paid feel overpriced. Some of the loungers felt more like loiterers than guests, having all-you-can-drink beer and snacks, and there was no place for me to sit or rest after a long trip here. I had to wait until really late at night for a chance to sit down in the lobby, have a drink, and relax in a quiet atmostphere. It is normally REALLY loud in there -- the opposite of relaxing. The elevator was constantly full of mixed nuts and snacks, which guests were constantly dropping. Also, guests can take cups of beer back to their rooms, so some of that had been spilled in the elevators, as well. The look and smell was more like a building of drunkards or bars, rather than a nice hotel. The room floors have hallways that are open to the elements. In other words, the hallways are NOT enclosed with carpet and A/C or heating. So, last night when I arrived, the strong winds and heavy rains whipped around the hallway near where my room was located. This wasn't completely solved by me being in my room with the door closed. It was still loud. No bathtub, so I was saddened and surprised because of the price.
It's within walking distance of Hakata Station but not "close," per se. Still, it's doable if you don't have too much luggage. Check-in itself was easy enough and no problem. Staff seemed nice. Complimentary drinks, including coffee and beer, as well as snacks in the lobby (see my other comments about the downside of this). Amazing shower -- massively strong, tremendous waterflow, excellent heat! Couldn't ask for better from these things, though I was still sad about not being able to take a follow-up bath. The bed must have been amazingly comfortable for me, because I slept nearly 9 straight hours without waking up. I have a kidney tumor and typically I wake up a LOT to go to the bathroom, and being even a little uncomfortable wakes me up. So, the fact that I never woke up and barely got out of there by checkout time was amazing. The shower and bed alone made up for all of the criticism I had, so if they could improve in those other areas, it would be an amazingly comfortable stay, I think.

location, facilities, amenities, and overall room. Walking distance to Hakata Station and other restaurants. The hotel had great facilities and amenities upon check-in. had a lounging area outside of the lobby with free drinks. The rooms came with free alcoholic beverages. Yes they were free 😆

NetherlandsThe fan in the bathroom needs to stay on at all times, was a bit noisy but with both sliding doors closed it was ok. Also you have to pay to leave your luggage before check in or after check out but the free stuff makes up for it and it's not that much 550¥. Pillows very soft, would be nice to have options but all in all I slept fine! And I had a kettle in the room but no teabags, I had some myself so didn't ask but am sure they would have some downstairs.
Free minibar in the room was a nice surprise (alcoholic drinks + water) Nuts, free beer, water, coffee downstairs. Nice lounge at reception if you're early. Nice bath! Quiet airconditioning. Good location. Friendly staff. Free tootbrushes, night wear, hairbrushes, razors, slippers, etc.

PhilippinesNo room cleaning until check out, which could be a problem for clean freaks. Room is small as expected. No wardrobe to hang jackets. Even the bathroom could use a hook or two to hang clothes while taking a bath. A bit pricey.
The room we got is good for 4, with 2 semi double beds. Plenty of alcoholic welcome drinks at the fridge. Check out is at 11am. Front desk staff is very friendly.
