Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesIt’s a great hotel. Very clean, complimentary drinks and snacks, extremely helpful staff. Bringing the towels down was a little strange but worth it for everything else you get out of their services.

Hong KongThe free drink bar is exceptional. With a podium, the bar is a great place for chilling with beers! The room is clean. The location of the hotel is excellent, 3-5 mins to Hakata Station and with many great restaurants around.

United KingdomThe room was too hot and we couldn’t cool it down. The window was covered in a film meaning we couldn’t see outside which didn’t feel great. The room felt dated.
The location was perfect, reception area was great and free beer would be exceptional if I was drinking! Checkout being 12pm was very good.

Great value for money. 7min walk to/from Hakata Station, great food options within a min walk. Loved the open bar (beer only), iced water and snacks (nuts and cracker) on check-in, and the ability to relax and lounge at the check-in area (nothing flash, but comfortable and relaxing). Super bonus having a fridge full of FREE beverages, although I did not partake.

United StatesHotel doesn't start the check in before 15:00. Right after 3pm, all guests had to lone up and wait for it. Distance from Hakata station was bit too far, I needed to use taxi to get to the hotel.
I got the suit room with decent price. Bathroom was big enough and comfortable. All drinks in the refrigerator is free, which is good.

AustraliaNothing really
About 6-8 minute walk to the station depending on your pace. Good place to stay for 2 nights and the staff are friendly. They also had some free stuff by the lobby, but we were too busy to try those out.

JapanBaggage storage is 550 Yen per piece, which is not a great considering the rather late check-in time at 4pm. We found hair in the bathroom. The air condition in the room was unpleasant, either too warm or too cold and overall too dry. All complementary drinks were alcoholic (except water).
The twin room was more spacious than usually. The interior and the overall facilities were modern looking.

RussiaThe room door is located in the corridor which is located on the outer shape of the building. The fences are not high, so you are afraid that you might fall down.
Bigger room compared to other hotels. Good air conditioner system. Patio with the free beer on the second floor is something, that I’ll always remember.

AustraliaThe early baggage drop charge. We did check at the station but they were all booked. Specially for tourists who come from abroad, they should accommodate them. We visited 7 places in Japan, this was the only place we had a pay a fee and we did it any way as we were a family of four, and that was their rule. Not a complaint but a pint to consider….
