Centrally located hotel, about 450 metres from Kanazawa Castle; very convenient for getting to the main attractions of Kanazawa on foot. All rooms have microwave ovens and washing machines, which is very convenient. Our room was a bit bigger than the standard for Japanese hotel rooms. The staff was always friendly and helpful

Beds too big and take up room space. There was not enough room for 2 people to be comfortable. No wardrobe. Breakfast was not suitable for me States some western but not my type of western and so we had to go out each morning

The position and staff. Bed was very comfortable. Loved the vibrating chair in the lobby and had a few laughs. Free curry and a drink at happy hour was appreciated. My friend enjoyed the communal bath

Maybe the location is a bit far from the station. However, the quality of their standard way exceeded our expectations.

No taxi stand and hotel does not allow staffs to call taxi. It is a bit far to walk to Kanazawa Station.

We asked to print out a few pages and they said the hotel policy was to charge 10 yen for each page which left a bit of a bad taste, sink was a bit low sp it was hard to brush our teeth

This is really not a dealbreaker but the check-in took quite some time, as they only have 2 counters at the reception. Normally this is more than enough but at the "check-in or check-out rush hours" you have to wait a bit.

After I had a frustrating experience with my hotel in Tokyo - the Tokyu Stay in Kanazawa was just the complete opposite and was beyond my expectations. Big cosy rooms, a breakfast, where also vegetarians can find something to eat. I really loved it and what stood out the most was the location. Basically you are in the middle of everything you want to discover in Kanazawa, close to Korinbo, Kanazawa Castle, Kenrokuen, Kanazawa Station, etc. everything and lots of nice restaurants in walking distance. Even it you don't like walking as much as I do, there are 2 bus stops directly in front of the hotel. The staff also helped me to find the perfect Onsen for a day trip. Can't imagine a better place to enjoy the time in Kanazawa.

We loved the room with armchairs and table and the size of the bed. The day we arrived it was raining and we got soaked and having a shoe dryer was great!
