Room was spacious, very clean, very accessible from Gora Station. Such a lovely journey to get to Gora Station up the mountain on the train line. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Onsen was great, especially being tattoo friendly was a bonus!

Lovely modern hotel with traditional touches. Huge room and great restaurant. The free onzen was also a nice addition. The hotel is literally next to the station so it’s a perfect location to start the Hakone round-trip (although that can also easily be done directly from Tokyo, but this is a less hasty way to do it). We truly loved our stay here.

The restaurant and bar were quite limited and were not to our taste.

This hotel was in a fantastic location for everything we wanted to see and do. Rooms were well equipped and very spacious. It had a good laundry which was very reasonably priced. The staff were lovely and very helpful. It had a great Onsen. We would recommend the breakfast and would happily stay again!

Great location close to Gora station - fast and easy access to cable cars, rope way and shuttle service to pola art museum across the street! Easy jump off point for major attractions. Staff was friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and onsen was a bonus!

The kids loved the bunk beds in the traditional room. Very convenient spot close to Gora station. We enjoyed the restaurant. Onsen was very busy so we missed out but that’s ok. The kids loved the free icy poles, they had one each day. Very friendly staff

Nothing to complain about except maybe that the restaurant was closed on the night of our stay so we couldn’t try it out.

One of the absolute highlights of our Japan trip. Super friendly and happy staff that makes staying there a pleasure. Nice rooms, good onsen, and a wonderful nature and (despite all tourists) quiet area with good night sleep. What else can you wish for?

The food served in the restaurant is so good and the morning buffet has a huge variety of tasty foods and drinks. The onsen is ventilated with fresh though a bit chilly air. Every part of the experience is thought through in detail. Very welcoming and helpful staff speaking great English.

This was the best hotel we stayed in during our month in Japan. The location, right next to Gora station, is perfect. The staff, who all spoke some English, we're delightful. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The onsen was a real treat. And the set dinner was probably the best meal we had anywhere in Japan. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We drove so it’s great for the museums but a bit further from the tourist areas. It was close to the road so you can’t sleep with your windows open. They provide earplugs for a reason!

Great location to explore Gora. Comfortable and clean and great service. They helped me book Enoura Observatory as require Japanese speaking to book a walk in ticket. Nice breakfast spread with simple menu but well executed and good variety. The salad with carrot dressing was yummy. Nice touches like filtered water machines outside and coin laundry. Small onsen but adequate.

The front desk staff were warm and friendly. The room was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. We loved the Onsen. The breakfast served was very good with many options in the buffet but the items were identical each day. The location was a one minute walk from the Gora station which was amazing when you are travelling with an infant and luggage. The hotel warned us that there were very few restaurants in the neighbourhood and they were right! We had planned to eat dinner in the hotel on our second night but it was a Monday and it closed Monday and Tuesday.
