Dryers were ineffective. Even after 60 minutes, clothes were wet.

Fantastic location near Gora station. Very clean and modern. Staff go out of the way to help. Breakfast was more than satisfactory even for vegetarians like us. We checked out early and they got breakfast boxes made for us the previous night.

Room smelled like cigarette even though it was non-smoking. Onsen wasn't hot enough when we used it (not sure if this was normal for the time of day. We went in the morning). Free breakfast was thoughtful and looked nice, but wasn't to our taste.

The lady at front desk is very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The quadruple room we stayed in is spacious and comfortable. The location is right next to the station.

The location from Gora Station was really a minute away! We were pleasantly surprised that the cable car to the Ropeway was also a minute away. The staff at reception was very friendly, helpful and we were happy they spoke English. Our room was clean and comfortable. And we enjoyed our first experience in the onsen on site. Highly recommend!!

Would be helpful if there are staff checking in at the onsen as one of the guests went into the onsen with a big towel.

We really love the breakfast menu, unfortunately, we head out early on one of the days and missed out on the breakfast. I like that it's not too crowded, and we don't need to wait for vacancy at the onsen. The staff were very approachable and provided us with a lot of information!

The onsen was not too bad, but the female onsen water was not hot enough. The breakfast was good and unique. There was free soda can post onsen. The beds were comfortable. As it is a hostel and hotel concept, the crowd was very diverse. The cable car is literally beside the hotel.

I was unpleasantly surprised by the state of the carpet in the room, it had all kind of stains on it, presumably of different origins. Can’t imagine what wasn’t spilled there. It would be cool if the owners will either change or clean it

This is a modern tourist-oriented hotel. The breakfast and dinner were nice. Though you have to understand it’s not a kaiseki kind of dinner, there is no tatami etc. the beds were comfy, I slept well. The onsen area was nice, women/men areas are separated, no more than 6 people are aloud at the same time. The location is super cool, highly accessible, close to the train station and cable car.

The breakfast jar whilst a great idea was luke warm at the top and cold at the bottom which indicates pre preparation and refrigeration without sufficient warming upon serving. This was probably the only negative aspect to this stay for us.

Lovely little hotel. Fabulous position in Gora (above Hakone) just next to station and cable car. Apparently there’s a public onsen (didn’t use), was misled by reports of a private onset which we planned to use but apparently non existent. Nevertheless, room spacious, delicious breakfast and lovely helpful staff

The shared bathroom could be cleaned more regularly, particularly the sink which had hairs there regularly. They tried their best to accommodate for vegan but would’ve been lovely if they had more options and also dessert. Also found the whole reservation system slightly unnecessary and a bit over engineered for my taste

The music choice in the bar/restaurant was Western middle-of-the-road dated pop/rock - why?? It didn’t meet the chilled vibe the hotel seemed to be trying to create. We would have eaten in the restaurant all the time, but went once and couldn’t bear the music - it was the worst of all the places we ate/stayed!! Please change the soundtrack!!

It’s got a very relaxed vibe, great location near the station and wide corridors, spacious rooms, which was refreshing - our room even had a sofa. Restaurant & bar onsite & onsen.
