Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

JapanThe room was pretty small which is typical of Japanese hotels, it is definitely an older hotel. The rooms look dated, the bed was very small with a stiff mattress and there wasn’t much in the way of amenities. That being said the room was still clean and the staff were helpful.
The location is very convenient and it is located just a few minutes walk from Morioka station. If you are only going to be here for a night or two it is a good option.

Value for money, had a good quality of stay for what I have paid. Just a few minute walk from the west exit of Morioka St. Good choice for travelers who would like to catch an early train the next day.

GermanyThere were only two washing machines to use, which were always occupied (sometimes finished laundry were not picked up for a long time). Amenities cost a little bit of money if you need a razor or a toothbrush or similar. Unfortunately there is no convenience store nearby. The next one would be a Family Mart near the station, which is around a 8 min walk.
This hotel is almost directly connected to Morioka Station and it only takes like 5 min to get to the station. Nagahama Coffe is just around the corner, also a Bic Camera across the street. An entertainment building is also close to this hotel. The staff is very nice and helpful.

BrazilIt is really really small room for 2 person. It is just for a short staying, 2 nights maximum. For me and my mother that we are 1,60 cm tall and slim it was ok but for someone bigger or a little bit overweight will suffer in this room and bathroom.
Very near the station. It was all new and clean.

AustraliaThere's a strong smell of cigarettes, including in the elevator and in the hallway of the non-smoking floor. Carpet on the hallway had many, very visible stains, looked dirty. The room itself looked clean but it's quite small; the bathroom in particular is very tight. The mattress was hard and the pillow too soft, I didn't sleep well. Facilities in the room are very basics, just the essentials (a kettle, hairdryer). I hated that there was no night lamp, the only light available in the room is the bright, white, ceiling light. Only curtains are blockout curtains, I would have appreciated some sheer curtains to let some natural light in. I didn't like that the microwave for guest's use is in front of the elevators.
Short walk from Morioka station west exit, connected with a direct pedestrian passage (that I didn't see at first). Reasonably cheap for a single room, bathroom looked new and clean. I appreciated that there was an extension cable available in the room, and a spare charger.

GermanyThere was only one washing machine (dryer included). But it did not work very well. My clothes didn't really dry, even though I put the machine into dryer mode again after the wash and dry mode.
The price-performance is great. Furnishing is good and there is also a bathtub (small one). Location is also good, it's near the main station.

JapanThe hotel was not as clean as some reviews may claim it is. Aside from the interior of the hotel showing clear signs of aging, the room I stayed in (including the bathroom) was covered in stains and reeked of smoke despite it being a non-smoking room. Entering the hotel may also prove to be a bit tricky as there is no direct entrance from the main street. I am well aware of the fact that this is a budget option but the rooms were very depressing overall.

JapanI think that for the price, more free amenities rather than charched ones should be included. If you're travelling solo, the room space is plenty enough but might be a bit cramped for 2 people. Also, I requested a non-smoking room but the bathroom had a distinct smoke smell.
The hotel is up for some remodelling but clean and solid. It was quiet and pleasant enough. Very close to the main station and well lit so it makes moving around easy.

JapanI was a bit disappointed that the toiletries provided were just body soap and shampoo, no toothbrush set or you have to purchase, which is usually free in most business hotels, even hostels in Japan. Good thing I always bring my own toiletries.
Just a 5 min walk from Morioka Station so that was superb. It was also really clean and well maintained.

SpainRoom can be a bit claustrophobic and the minimal approach is quite spartan but it’s efficient enough. The included breakfast is just a plate from the coffee place in the hotel so for hungry people it might be better to get your own someplace else or eat in the room.
Very good location next to the train station so good choice for easy stay between trips to other places. In the end it’s a good choice for value and it’s very clean.
