I couldn't figure out how to turn off the light in the closet across from my bed, so the light shined into the room, but thankfully I had an eye mask. Apart from that it was great and would come back 😊

Beautiful home and such friendly staff! Slept in a shared tatami room, but each individual space is divided by a wood divider with lots of space for each visitor. Comfortable futon and cozy space. Appreciated the host taking the time to welcome me and explain how kinosaki onsen works.

It is exceptionally clean. It is central. The onsens are nearby. The furthest one is just 15 mins on foot. Mizuho San is a thoughtful host. She is detailed in everything she does.

I loved my stay here - it was such a cosy and traditional experience. I loved getting to sleep on the futon bed and using the yakuta for going to the onsens. The host was very kind, letting me leave my bag at the property before check-in and after check-out, plus giving me some information about the onsens.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable Japanese style room. They gave free rental yukata, geta and bag to walk through the town and visit the onsens.

The only point of potential concern was the locking of the gate at 11:30pm. However, all onsen close by 11pm so it was not an issue for us.

Mizuho-San and Chihiro-san are sublime hosts. The location is excellent and the vintage Showa atmosphere in that old house is fantastic. We will certainly visit again. ありがとう！

Straight upon arrival I felt very welcome by the warm welcome the hosts gave me. The house itself is pretty and super cool to stay in. Moreover, the location is perfect for visiting the onsen, may it be late in the evening or early in the morning.

Love everything about the location and the ryokan. It was our first time staying in a ryokan and it definitely exceeded our expectation. Although there is only 1 bathroom, everyone was very understanding and patience. It was not noisy at all. Thank you for the team's hospitality. My mom & I had a really enjoyable stay!
