The location being very close to Nagoya station, cleanliness of facility, in a quiet surrounding areas give me a peaceful rest stays. The owner's warmest "guidance/directions/where to go/where to eat" make me feel like I am a part of the family, a valuable informatics person/owner to ask when I need hands on information in an instance. Nothing! Wouldn't change anything in the hostel.

Everything is shared but you could easily tell that the Ichan really put his personal touch into the hostel. It felt like home!

I only wish that check-out could be a bit extended (by 1 hour or so) just to gather time and plans before catching a bus or train to the next destination.

The location was perfect, about a 10min walk from 2 stations. The rooms were nice and clean and very secure. And the staff were all so kind and accomodating.

The location and its price are exceptional. The room I used is also clean and cozy. Everyday, all rooms and bathrooms, shower-area are cleaned as well. All you have to do is to have a relationship with your roommates. Actually, I liked staying here.. If you are a person like me, you'll never regret choosing here as your accommodation during your travel.

I think the wi-fi signal on the fourth floor where I stayed could be improved. Aside from that, I'm very happy with the services of the hostel for what I've paid for. It's definitely value for money! :)

During my stay at Glocal Nagoya Backpackers Hostel, I was grateful that I was placed near the window, providing ample space for luggage organization. The reliable wifi in the pantry area was convenient for staying connected. Above all, the exceptional hospitality of Icchan, the owner, made me feel welcomed and at home throughout my stay. I highly recommend this place for its cozy atmosphere and personal touch.

The staff are really friendly and helpful. The facilities are very clean and well equipped. It's a nice place to meet other travelers and the location is great as well. The lobby also serves as a bar on the weekends, which attracts many locals who want to practice their English. It's a great and rare opportunity to get to know local people, so it comes highly recommended!

Only real complaint would be the uneven temperatures. The common room was always really warm and when you stepped out into the floor you suddenly get cold. Always felt a bit cold when I wanted to sleep and really hot when I woke up.

The owner is super friendly and talking in English isn't a problem. There is a pretty decent kitchen/common room where you can talk to other guests. But that depends on how talkative they are.

There is not one negative thing about this hostel.

That was the best hostel I've been to in Japan! The owner (who is SO NICE) was/ is a traveler too and you see that! Everything is well organized and has everything you need as a backpacker. the rooms are big and so comfortable. The kitchen/ lobby was amazing and the food/ coffee in the Café was delicious. I would definitely come back and never stay somewhere else.

I wish the floors in the sink/shower rooms were swept a little more often, ladies were brushing their hair often and left it a bit messy

I had a great experience, everyone was so friendly! It made me want to stay longer but it was just a stop on the way to Kansai. I would definitely come back again.
