Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PhilippinesI thought there would be a washing machine in the room, there wasn't. It was also located in an area that apparently had a lot of night life. Not ideal for kids. Although, it didn't really bother us much.
The size of the room, the toilet, bath, the beds were awesome. Easy access to the subway. The staff were wonderful.

SingaporeNested in area with a lot of nightlife activity, if you don’t mind. A bit of walking from main shopping and train station.
The hotel room is excellent with your own private leg massager! Super plus to the entire family; watching Netflix and doing leg massage!

United StatesThe area was a bit sketchy at night. Not dangerous by American standards, but probably there were streetwalkers and a ton of host clubs nearby, which is "rough" for Japan. It wasn't as close to the main station as I'd have liked.
The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Amenities were good. Everything was clean and they had more than one elevator. Easy to walk to most of major tourist attractions and restaurants from the location.

SingaporeThe hotel is located in an area with restaurants, drinking pubs and karaoke. Just be aware of the surroundings if you go out after 8pm
Amenities were self serviced and guests took only the necessary. Rooms were spacious, good for families. I appreciate the long sofa and table. Amazing for a no- frills hotel to provide a foot massager in the rooms.

AustraliaThe location...not just a night club area, but an "adult" night life area, the building opposite is full of hourly visitors and men in groups guard the clubs and corners, this went on all night until 7-8 am. Very intimidating, the kids, even teens weren't allowed out to shop even, the taxi driver warned us as he dropped us off also that it wasn't a safe area.
The rooms were amazing. Super clean, staff were 10/10 accommodating to us and being english only speaking guests. We had 3 rooms for our big family, all different styles, all amazing designs. Coin aundry machines in the foyer. Before the night life started we had dinner and the local restaurant owners were so welcoming.

JapanUnfortunately the neighbourhood was not very nice at night. There were many night clubs around the hotel and at night there were girls waiting for clients and lots of rubbish the morning after.
The room was spacious and as described. The family room was large and well equipped. There is no breakfast at the hotel but there's a kitchen in the room. The staff was nice and helpful.

United StatesThe area around the hotel was not family friendly. Lots of clubs and bars and people hanging around on the streets. We walked quickly through the area to get where we needed to. It's the only part of Japan we've stayed where the streets were dirty.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was amazing, clean, comfortable with many amenities. Loved the room layout. The laundry machines were easy to use (there were 3 machines that washed and dried). We loved the hotel.

SingaporeThe location might not be ideal for ladies travelling alone or even in group. There are many clubs near to the hotel with men standing outside the clubs. It was fairly uncomfortable walking back to the hotel at night. Didnt allow our girls to venture out alone at night.
The hotel staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. We booked a room for 6 so it came with 2 double beds and 2 single beds with a sofa. Room is very clean and comfortable.
