Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

JapanI liked everything!
Very close and convenient to the JR Station, modern property, spacious rooms, loved the coffee served in the morning. Thank you very much to the front desk staff who stayed a bit late to wait for me and my check-in. Also, all staff spoke English and were very very kind! Thank you!

SingaporeThe centralized air-conditioner. It was very cold at night during winter and we couldn't adjust the temperature.
Love the fireplace area with coffee and microwave oven. Love the parking area. Love the location. Love the amenities and TV system to login into Netflix and YouTube.

SingaporeIt was the 3rd time I stayed in this hotel. My family and I had a nice previous experience from this hotel. We were a bit disappointed this time round because I opted for an upgrade of my room but turns out we got a room that was old and not so clean.
Breakfast was served in a basket with a wonderful selection of eggs, yoghurt drink, salad, mini breads, soup of the day, fruit juice and fruits! Love the breakfast!

JapanThe value for money was AWFUL, the staff were not helpful (although a younger member of staff on the 2nd day was better), the room wasn’t clean (found old sweets left behind and a stain on the pillow case).
The junior suite room we chose was a good size.

United StatesThere was no soap to wash hands in the toilet room. I like that the toilet and the bathroom are separated but after all, I go back to the bathroom to just wash my hands with soap. The breakfast menu could be better. I personally prefer other soups than clam chowder in the summertime in Japan. (For example, minestrone of summer vegetables like summer squash, or corn soup, etc.) The idea of a picnic in the room is not bad, though.
The location is good. Very close to the station. 5 min by walk. There is a convenience store just across the street. The room is clean and spacious. I love the tatami area with a small table. Also, it has an independent toilet room!! The bathtub is nicely deep :)

Hong KongThe staff is not honest. We stayed at the hotel for two nights and asked the staff to make up our room on the second day. Afterwards we found that a bag of gifts was missing. There were some Japanese traditional food and brand new handkerchiefs inside. We suspected that they were stolen by the cleaning staff. But since we didn’t have any evidence to prove that, we couldn’t make any claims. After all, it was our negligence but we didn’t expect that foodstuffs and handkerchiefs of little value would be stolen.

ThailandThe bed is too hard. Nothing pleasant or interesting around the hotel. The reviews are overrated. Too pricey (and precancellation expired early/auto-charge credit card) for what we get in overall.
The size of the room and the bathtub are good. Officers are nice for brief encounter.
