Bed very hard for me. The floor was only for women. Very clean and the facilities was very new and helpful! Friendly staff, you can cook if you want it, comfy comun area, and very near from the subway station.

The hotel is really close to UENO JR station, within 3mins walking distance. It’s great that I’d been arranged to stay at the floor which only for lady. Staff were helpful as well.

We stayed in a room for 5 people and it was good but very small as expected and it was even hard to open suitcases…

We liked it very much overall. For the price, it was really nice. Great location with lots of restaurants and museums nearby.

It’s a bit too small, if you have a luggage each. Perhaps is there are only 4 in a group booking the private rooms, can remove the TV area beds to create more space in the room

It is close to the Ueno station so very convenient and even though it’s a hostel, but there are private rooms you can book for family traveling together

The room was very small, with no shelves for clothes. Even open suitcases didn’t fit, so we couldn’t unpack comfortably.

The hotel is located in a very convenient location, right next to Ueno Station (there's a direct train from Narita Airport). The room was spotless, and having a private bathroom was a big plus. It was nice that there was a shared space downstairs where you could eat and relax, and free workshops were organized once a week. The breakfasts were rather modest, but at least there was something to snack on before heading out. The staff was very friendly and helpful :)

One floor has 2 showers so it can take a long time to wait for the vacant shower. For towel need and extra charge.

My only complaint is that the matress was very thin, so at times not very comfortable

It was very clean and you had alot of privacy in the hostel beds because they vere spacious and had curtains. The female floor was also equipped with nice showers and a washroom that had nice soaps, hair dryer etc. also vending machine👌 the location is also nice cause its close to family mart and ueno station.

No designated smoking area. Had to hide away in a side street but that's ok. Made me feel like I was back in high school haha. Powder rooms are a little bit cramped

Right by Ueno station, Iriya Exit. Rooms are clean and neat. Staff are personable and kind. I really enjoyed having a corner room by the Window. Ueno is a great area to stay in with lots to see and do and Grids is within walking distance of everything. The location is everything :)

The bed was more spacious than it looked in pictures. For a petite person, it's very good to sleep comfortably. The shared facilities like showers and washrooms are ample so even if the dorm was full, there's no need to wait a long time. The location is very good. There's family mart and lawson with 5 min walk and also Ueno station Iriya exit.

Good easy location to get to, good for family of 4 with younger kids. Breakfast was very basic, rooms very clean. The Aircon is the only thing that needed cleaning - lots of dust! Very quiet at night. Overall would stay again.
