Very small room, which I know is expected but in our 2 week trip we stayed in 5 different hotels this was by far the smallest! No where to put your luggage or even stand. There is 1 small lift which you had to wait 10 minutes when it was busy.

Close to the station and restaurants. Was very clean and had good amenities. Staff friendly and speak English well.

Laundry was terrible, used the washing machine which cost several dollars and I don't think it actually cleaned any of my clothes.

Great location, very short walk to Ueno station. Great family mart within a short walk and lovely seating area on bottom floor that you can use to eat etc.

Perfect location next to Ueno station. Has what you need for the night and rest. For couple traveling light, the room was just what we needed - place to rest when exploring Tokyo. Calm atmosphere, nice staff and laundry room available.

You have to pay for everything. It’s fine cause it’s like 100 💴 yen for towels but it would be nice to know in advance like when you make the reservation

Rooms are too warm and there is no control in the room to adjust. Sleeping was therefore exceptionally difficult. We also had very noisy neighbours as there is no way to enforce quiet hours - people returning at 2AM and spending multiple hours getting ready for bed. Hostels on this scale (20 dorm rooms over 8 floors) are not fun!

Functional hostel in a great part of Tokyo - Ueno Park is just a short walk away. Loved being around the hostel but not in it!

small rooms with everything you need (the only con is the lack of place for your bag) great location (it's just a few minutes from Ueno station - which is a great travel hub) but on the same time it is a bit to the side so it's quiet small but filling breakfast (just as mention - they are usually not included in the price) coin washing and drying machine on 7th floor as well as drink vending machine. whole floor dedicated to women. wifi working good

Well located just outside ueno station, with Ameyoko, Asakusa and Keisei liner Ueno at walkable distance. Comes with facilities like kitchen at common area and laundry. They assigned me a corner bed(maybe because I'm staying for a week) which made me grateful as I don't have to disturb others.

Ok for groups of friends but rooms are very small, not a lot of space for cases. The beds have pull-across curtains and individual lights, which is handy. Communal areas are very clean.

There are narrow stairs that could be challenging to walk up and down. Also there are constructions on the street that could be noisy in the mornings.

The bed was too hard as if there wasn't a mattress. The pillow was also too flat. Felt like I was lying directly on a tatami. Couldn't sleep at all for the whole night. Won't be staying again. The 6-female room didn't have a small common area as shown in the photo. It was very difficult to open up a suitcase of 24 inch in the room without blocking the way in and out of the room.

About 10-15mins walk from subway but easy to find. Pod size bed and room, the only public space is a mini desk at the corner. Four sinks for one floor.

Friendly and helpful staff, the hostel even lend umbrellas for free on rainy days.

The beds were super uncomfortable and very very firm. It almost felt like sleeping on the floor. Also not the properties fault really but the bathroom got super dirty (people left a mess) and the cleaning staff came pretty late in the morning to take care of it. I was startled by the dirty bathroom (overflowing bins, lots of hair everywhere , toilet not flushed - come on people!)

Good location close to Ueno Park /Ginza line. Separate female only floor. Spacious and a lot of privacy. Very quiet.
