Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The lower bed height was less so I was not able to sit on my dormitory bed, only sleeping. However, the upper bed was good, you could sleep and sit.

I slept at the lower bund, but the gap between the upper and lower bund is very limited, i bumped my head. And cannot use shower room after 00:00.
It’s very clean. There are 2 washing machines and 2 dryers, so don’t need to wait long for laundry. The staff (i guess is the owner) is very nice, he allows me to check in earlier because of my early arrival.

Nothing immediately comes to mind. Met every expectation I had for a guesthouse.
Great guesthouse, close to many interesting places to visit in Fukuoka. Rooms are very spacious and the entire hostel is very clean.

The common space was very nicely decorated in Japanese style. Interesting books on the shelves. Great price-quality ratio. Umbrellas were available for free.

It was close to everything and I didn’t have high expectations at first since it was my first guest house but it’s even better then staying in a hotel. We had what we need and the personal was kind. It was clean too.

Only some guest, she/he walked like she/he was at their home, disturbed others people.
The owner are very kind and helpful. One of the owner can speak English and they also use the translator. The hostel is very clean. Each floor has 2 shower rooms and 2 toilets. They also provide the washing machine and drying area. Inside the hostel, air conditioners are always turn on to control the temperature (in summer period). They have facilities for cooking, preserving food and eating. The location is not far from Hakata station and Fukuoka airport. If I have a chance to visit Fukuoka again, I will surely stay in this hostel.

I loved my stay at the Nakaima guest house. The place is very cozy and I felt in a Japanese house with the decoration, furniture and rooms. The owners, despite not speaking much English, are very friendly and try to help you, I used a lot of mime, It was a great experience. The location is very good and washing area is also provided for a low cost, the accommodation is very clean. I highly recommend staying at this place.

It being a small hostel a couple of dorm rooms and one private room. The common area is nice with it being raised and just next to the modern kitchen. Staff were helpful.

I really love the environment of this guesthouse ! Very clean, comfortable 👌. Decorated with many cute adornments. Excellent location, next to the metro station, it's very convenient to reach everywhere. Hosts are very nice and friendly 😊

The room was dusty despite the staff vacuuming every day. I had to dust the bunk frame I was sleeping in to make sure I didn't breath the dust. Also, the room wasn't aired enough but I was able to do it, so I did it.
The place was in a quiet neighborhood and I felt really safe walking around by myself, even in the evening. The staff was friendly and kind. The dining area was clean. However, it was all left to the guests, this means, if the guests cleaned after themselves the kitchen area was clean and if not, it wasn't. The bathroom is being cleaned every morning and is really clean :)

You need to bring your own towel or rent a towel, this wasn’t an issue for me but should be highlighted
