Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The lighting is quite dark and the room is having a smell but we are not too bothered by them.
It was very close to the Osaka airport and shuttle bus is available upon request. The staff has gone out of their way to make sure we are comfortable and helped arrange the bus for us. They also helped receive and immediately recognise us for our luggage delivery.

No breakfast provided. Location quite distant at 3.5km but the great thing is it provides a free shuttle bus to the airport at key times. It would be better if they offered more times during the morning and day, and made it easier and clearer that a bus is available and where to find it at the airport.

the tub in the room looked brand new in that it was so new it seemed not quite finished. Could use more caulk.
Amazing location very close to the airport, so I thought I would walk straight to the airport after my stay, and I think I could have, but I didn't have to! They have a free shuttle in the mornings here every hour until checkout at 11, very convenient! It takes you straight to the monorail airport stop. They also had a very comfortable bath on the first floor! two baths really, divided by gender, with locker rooms.

Too much dust. When I get in to room, I feel not good because allergy with dust in a room since room's floor was carpet.

We could only book a smoking room because no non-smoking rooms were available. The room was so incredibly smoky (more than I've ever experienced) because the air circulation system turns off when the power key is removed. It took a long time to be able to tolerate the smell so I wish they had done this before our arrival. There is not enough English for non-Japanese travelers so I had to use Google Translate (camera) for everything from the remote controls to reading about the shuttle system. At the airport, we didn't know that we have to phone the hotel to request a shuttle to take us to the hotel. We waited awhile there for the shuttle until the Toyoko Inn driver told us we needed to phone. There should be a sign; Toyoko Inn has a sign there, although it is also only in Japanese. Later I saw a sign in English in the elevator but it should also be at the front desk and at the airport waiting place. Also, I messaged the property via the Booking app and I received no reply at all. Who was responsible for that? Booking? or Green Rich Hotel? Somebody dropped the ball there. It would have been nice to have more than one television channel to watch. Toyoko Inn has several channels to choose from and they are all free. The free WiFi is not very secure so I chose not to use it, which was a bit disappointing.
My elderly Japanese mother appreciated the delicious breakfast (we paid extra for it but the price was reasonable). The room was nice (there was more room because it was higher than the basic room and had a lovely view); staff was very kind and helpful; shuttle bus to Itami airport (and monorail) was nice to have available. We did not try the public bath but it is nice to know that it is available and they have supplies for guests right by the elevator (on our 7th floor at least).

Weird room layout. The vibrating chair was weird. But that’s why you travel!
Staff tried to be as helpful as possible. Airport shuttle was great. The driver even walked us a ways to make sure we were on the right path.

Bed right against the wall which for 2 people is always tricky, but we appreciate in Japan double beds are a rarity.
Best location for the Airport. Free coffee and tea in the lobby. Extra pillows and robes just outside each floor lift. No sounds from planes or neighbours. Free shuttle to airport.

Slippers are not disposable. Most labels are in Japanese only, including air conditioning (but we have Google Lens now ...)
Good position to access Itami airport, which is within close walking distance (10 min). There is also a shuttle bus but not before 6 am. Extra pillows andyukata available at floor in the corridor.

Closeness to the airport (walking distance). Easy access to a 7Eleven, where I could go a snack late in the evening and very early in the morning.
It's walking distance from ITAMI terminal. Right in front of the hotel there is a7Eleven. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. The noise from the airport was not an issue.

Very close to ITM airport, some good food within walking distance, free airport shuttle, clean room, and the staff we interacted with spoke English pretty well which isn't expected, but helpful.
