Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaSilly point but coming down in lift to exit on ground floor the lift would always stop at lobby level even if no one there.

AustraliaThere wasn't any notification that the price of the washing machine would increase, besides a small black sign in the elevator, which was a bit frustrating having to go up and get more cash to exchange at the reception as they do not have a coin exchange machine. Though the food in the area is quite nice around the accommodation, there isn't much to see in the area. While I am not fluent in Japanese, I can get by, though it might be difficult for those who do not know much Japanese to communicate with the some of the staff due to the language barrier, but they do have a pocket translator though not all staff considered to use it unless prompted. The elevator will always stop at the reception regardless of what floor you select which was a bit awkward having to spam the close button as you make eye contact with the reception while making multiple trips up and down. The room door isn't too sound proof so you can hear other travellers late at night in the hallways walking and yelling to each other. It was winter so the heaters were on, fair enough but the reception and hallways were blazing.
The room was nice and spacious with plenty of room for luggage and shopping. The karee udon down the road was pretty banger. They do have a hot spring, where they provide a code for the women's bath, though we did not use this service. Overall the staff are quite friendly, you can buy detergent from the reception to use in the laundry room on the ground floor. Though there might be a language barrier, issues stated below. There is both a coin washing machine and dryer. You can watch the status of your laundry on the tv. There weren't too many supermarkets in the area but there were some conbinis around. The accommodation was situated conveniently in between Fushimi and Marunochi station, though most exits were stairs only with elevator access being a bit further away at a different exit.

AustraliaIt’s a little tricky to find ( exit 5 Maranouchi station look for VDrug supermarket). Would like to have more vending machines in the hotel. Breakfast is OK but missing some options like omelettes, fruit which would have been nice
Location wise is excellent. Close to Sakae and walking distance to Nagoya castle which is a must do attraction in Nagoya. Nice small clean modern rooms set up mainly for businessmen. Staff were very nice and on the ground floor there is a nice public bath. Place wasn’t too crowded when I was there. Nagoya is not a main tourist spot so you don’t feel claustrophobic but not that many things to do hence Nagoya castle a must

JapanOnsen is very small and not very spectacular but at least it was not crowded. For some reason, we had to come to the reception to ask for a breakfast ticket every day (not clear why as we had booked everything with breakfast included). Reception is not very foreigner-friendly. Absolutely no english (though, that seems to be the case all over the city, not as international friendly as other cities in Japan).
Room was tiny but very nice. Extra pillows available. Breakfast was very nice, with plenty of options! We really liked the location, we could walk anywhere without problems.
