How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It's an excellent location for families with kids, as it is located just right opposite the JR Matsue Station. There are restaurants, souvenir shops, 7-11 convenient shop and a small shopping mall attached to the train station, there's a cozy restaurant just right beside the hotel when the weather gets wet. The bed is comfortable, there's a mini fridge and kettle in the room. There are coin slot washing machines though the rate is slightly higher; There is an artificial hot spring too.

Extremely expensive coin laundry. It was the most expensive laundry we did in Japan. Dryer was very weak, we had to run dryer several times. The was a strange odour of mold in the room, maybe from the air conditioner.
The location is very nice, just 2 minutes walk from station. Breakfast was Japanese style and was delicious.

Bed was up against wall.
Comfortable bed. Great location very close to station. Find the lift or escalator right beside the tourist information centre north exit D. Go down and then through the tunnel. The hotel is on your left when you look at station. Close to restaurants and convenience store.

Too hot. You can open the window to get cool air, but then there is noise (bring earplugs for sleeping) as well as bugs coming in. No top sheet, only a thick comforter, which also makes it hot. The breakfast space is poorly laid out, making it very congested when you are trying to fill your plate; if you can, wait till 8:30 or 9:00 to go and it’s much better. The room was a bit dusty.
Great location right across from the train station (walk through the underground passage to exit D) and only a 10 min. walk from huge Aeon supermarket. Spacious room with lots of lighting options and lots of electrical outlets (2 on bed, 4 on desk). From the 10th floor I had a nice view of the city. Good breakfast (6:30 to 10:00) and good coffee and green tea amenities. 4 coat hangers.

There are three separate washers and dryers each which is good, but the dryers don’t work well at all. Our clothes were barely warm after a one hour spin in the dryer and we were quite sure we were well below the maximum load. Tons of lint flew out as well when we opened it after the cycle. At 200yen per 30min, not sure if it’s worth the money at all; they could use a refresh on the dryers
Room was bigger than average Japanese hotels and you can help yourself to additional pillows and amenities if required. Love that they have long pillows which acted as bolsters for us! Location is just across from the station which is great for fast traveling. Also appreciated the staff’s assistance with sending some of our stuff to our last stop in Osaka despite the language barrier.

Parking instructions from staff can be very confusing as there were 3 parking locations recommended, one of them is always full while the other is closed for construction works.
The room is spacious and clean. Location is very convenient.

It’s a bit tired and needs a refresh. The beds are a bit hard. First time I have woken up with a bad back in Japan.
Location near the Station is great. The Twin rooms are spacious and worth a little extra money.

There is no laundry service (but there are coin operated washing machines). I just think it is a bit more time consuming to clean your clothes yourself (I’d rather have them cleaned and then delivered in my room) but still, you can wash your clothes ! So it’s not THAT bad.
The hotel is extremely close to the station, which is very practical. Also, the rooms are very clean, spacious (which is rare in Japan) and the showers are oh so nice.

Staff at checkin were a bit unfriendly. Laundry charges were high relative to like hotels.

2 person's bedroom was quite small, meaning the bed was backed against the wall & into a corner- making getting in & out of the bed very awkward for one of the occupants.
Excellent location, comfortable room/ bathroom & good breakfast. Having a Coin Laundry facility at the hotel was very convenient.

Location is good, very close to Matsue station, however, staffs don't speak English. Breakfast is ok. Room size is good and we have massage chair which is very helpful after a long day walking tour.

Not something we didn't like, but we had to park at a nearby parking facility (Times parking). This was not informed on the website, so we had to run into the hotel and ask before parking. It would be nice if this was informed earlier.
We had a nice stay here for one night. The double bed was a little bit small (typically Japanese), but still comfortable. The room had good space, and the hotel was clean. Breakfast was ok.

the blanket on the bed is red and one side of the wall paper is red, the color which is not conformable color for me.
the hotel is right across the train station. this location is very good. The single room size is good enough. It is not too samll. The toilet is good as it can be flushed automatically. Breakfast is served with expense of 1500 yen.
