Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe elevator doesn't go from the station to the hotel, but you have to exit wakoshi station and then turn left and then walk a bit then turn left and take elevator to lobby on 4th floor and then take a different elevator to floors 5-7. It would have been nice to be able to access from the same elevator or access from within station perhaps.
Exceptional service and amenities! This place changed bedding, towels, trash, and vacuumed your rooms daily. They also offer free bathrobes which are also changed daily for you. 2 free water bottles and a pen are also replenished daily as well. Yes that's right, daily. In the USA you'd be looking at paying $150+ for these services.

United StatesThe room was a very tight squeeze. The washer/dryer was convenient, but didn’t get our clothes dry.
The hotel was right over the train station, but we weren’t kept up by any sounds. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

GermanyThe hotel is brand new well maintained with nice common area. The staff was very polite and service provided is efficient. The location of hotel is just above the Wakoshi train station. Connection to Tokyo from here is perfect and takes about 15 min to reach city center with Japan rail line. There are range of breakfast, lunch and dinner option available around. For business of leisure trip I highly suggest to visit the site.

Singapore2 washing machines are not enough. We have to stay till midnight to wait for clothes to dry. Hotel rooms are a bit small but not for bath room. Housekeeping do a good job in cleaning the rooms during our stay.
The hotel is right next to the Wakoshi subway station and walkable to supermarket, Family Mart, Lawson, restaurants and shops. Staff at reception is so helpful to confirm and arrange on our behalf with the train company to send back a lost bag from Hokkaido. Very helpful and friendly.

United StatesClean and comfortable room. Excellent shower. Queen size bed was wonderful and much appreciated. Pajamas were perfect. There’s a grocery store across the station that had more selection than the one in the station. Bakery below has delicious coffee and pastries. The salad looked good too. The Uniqlo below the hotel was a nice surprise. Short ride to visit Kawagoe. Be sure to get the all day bus ticket from the information booth in the station for 400¥.

Germany- The hotel is a bit far from Tokyo, it takes over 50 min to go to the main tourist attractions. Subway is almost always crowded so you'll most likely have to stand for over an hour, which can be tough. - The room size is quite small, if you have a large bag you can only open it in the hall. If your bag is larger than the standard size, that might even be difficult. I personally didn't like breakfast. You'll be given tickets for the café on the third floor, which only serves 4 pre-set traditional Japanese menus. There are no continental or sweet options available. Only a main dish, rice, pickled vegetables ..
- The hotel was very clean - The WiFi speed was good - The rooms are cleaned everyday. - The hotel is located right above the Wakoshi station. - Despite being above a train station, it is very quiet. - The area is quite nice with many convenience stores, shops and restaurants around. - Free coffee is available near the reception. - In each floor, there is a small room where you can find a microwave, an ice machine and drinks distributor.

DenmarkThe room is very little, there is no wardrobe at all (or other storage space), so it's not very practical for long-term stay. Also it's quite hard to stay here with a baby, because there is no space to move around..
