United KingdomOur room was quite small but I think it was one of the smallest so probably they’re not all that small.
Very peaceful and beautifully designed. Perfect place to land after flying into Narita airport from the uk. The public baths were really relaxing and always empty when I went in. The traditional Japanese breakfast was exceptional and it was so convenient to get to the temple but also very quiet. It was lovely that they gave us a complementary mini bar full of lovely drinks including sake.

The staff were very helpful even before I arrived. I had my luggage forwarded. They let me know when it arrived and we're very friendly and kind.. The staff showed me my room, checked I knew Ryokan etiquette. The room is stunning. It does not have a view and you can't open the windows but it is so pretty I didn't care The sentoo is beautiful. I had breakfast one morning. It was one of the best meals I had in Japan in the 6 weeks of my stay. The temple and Naritasan Koen are within walking distance. Omote-Sando is right outside. I didn't go much beyond the immediate vicinity because I was tired but I could have got a train or taxi to a shopping centre had I wished.

We loved everything about this place. We were amazed at how wonderful the room was and how relaxing the bath was as well. The location was amazing since it was so close to all of the store and the shrine. The staff were also very nice and very helpful.

United StatesShops/restaurant nearby close at 5:00 at night and won't open until 10:00 in the morning So it's better to book breakfast and/or dinner at hotel in advance (meals have to be reserved 3 days in advance. Can not be added after u arrive). We arrived at 6PM. Luckily, only one restaurant is still open.
Room is Japanese style, very nice. It's ~20-minutes from airport, and next to a temple. It's a good one-night lay over if you don't have time to go to downtown. Taxi from/to airport takes ~4500 yen.

We had two wonderful nights in Waqoo Naritasanmonzen. Everything is perfect. Nice and clean room, warm service, substantial Japanese’s style breakfast. We enjoy the public bath very much, which make us relaxing after a long journey from Los Angeles. We also love the decoration and atmosphere created in the space. Most importantly, all the staff of the hotel are welcoming, and they take care of every details even after check out. I found I lost my glasses in the hotel after we checked out and back to Shanghai. They helped me to find it in the public bath and shipped it to me via international express without any delay. I want to thank all the team of Waqoo Naritasanmonzen. You are the best! I will choose to stay in Waqoo Naritasanmonzen next time definitely.

CanadaWe arrived later in the day so a taxi was able to take us right to the door of the hotel for arrive, but during the day when the main road becomes pedestrian only, an alternate way or walking to/ from the station is required with your luggage…which isn’t far ( what we did as we only travel with carry-on) . but if it was raining or travelling with lots of luggage might be hard for people who don’t walk far so if you want a taxi to pick you up or drop you off at the front door, make sure you plan it’s not during when the road become pedestrians only.
It was an very modern an luxury stay with an amazing location, just a 5min taxi ride from the train station. The rooms, and the modern large shared baths were amazing to relax in after a long flight in. The traditional breakfast was the best one we had in all our stay in Japan and highly recommend splurging a bit to unwind after the long flight into Japans and all the custom and train ticket lines.
