Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThere is no window in the room and the walls are paper thin. Our neighbor showered at 11pm and woke me up with the noise. Pillows are flat. The room is tiny but was warm but all other spaces (bathroom, hallway, kitchen) are unheated and thus freezing even in March. They charged at 5000 yen cleaning fee upon booking, in addition to the rental fee, which was pretty bogus because they never cleaned our room in the 9 days we stayed. It worked out for us because there were only a few nights with a few other guests but there is only one shower and one toilet for all the guests to use. One pair of guests showed up and said there room was dirty and left. So I would message them to remind them before you show up. We are grateful for the budget spot but with no cleaning and no window it should be cheaper.
My spouse and I enjoyed staying in this area of Osaka; far from tourist traps but close to the train station. There is a nearby dance studio called Dancing City and the Koreatown area is cool. The accommodation itself is just okay. We never met any staff but they did respond quickly on our arrival day and the room was clean. Its basic, but the little kitchen was functional. Park across the street is nice. Wifi works well. Water pressure is great and hot in shower. Desk in room was nice.

JapanI think that changing the towels? It is more comfortable to use a cotton towels. We don't bring any personal towels with us because knowing upon pre-booking that I haved checked the place will provide face and bath towels considering it was cotton towels. ✌️Also, since the 1st floor is for group of people to occupy, additional hangers will be great. On our time of stay, the room only has 2 hangers available so we have difficulty to place our winter jackets and bath towels. This 2 small things for improvement, customers will highly appreciated! Thank You.
We cater the 1st floor area which is spacious enough for us since we travelled as a family of 6. We don't have any problem for the space for our luggages and backpacks. I like the concept of mini living area where we could be able to talked things early in the morning. The place has an electric kettle, microwave, refrigerator and a washing machine. Thanks to this because we always came late, we could be able to atleast eat some ramen and coffee. The place also has a spacious Genkan, and big bins of trash cans. We don't need to settle the trash everyday. We also like that the bath, toilet and powder area is separated. We could be able to maximise each area especially in the morning. The location, you have to walked 10-15mins to the station. Not a problem for us because it was close to 商店街. All in all the place is pretty good knowing we pay 26,600 yen for 4D3N. I will surely recommended it. 🙌

GermanyIt was kinda scary because no one was in the building and it seemed very abandoned. There is no reception or anything, the front door was unfortunately broken, so we couldn't close it.
Cheap and okay ^^
