There was no locker space for your big items, you just put it under your bed so if you are in a top bunk that might not be very convenient. There was no counter top space to put your toiletries on in the washroom area of the bedroom floor and the shower room is on a different level to the bedroom. Also the light in the capsule is a bit dim.

The location was excellent, 5 min walk away from Susukino, a bus stop for the airport shuttle and the subway. This was the second time I stayed at the hostel. I left a personal belonging there and they kindly sent it back to me without charge. I would recommend this place and I would go back again.

The location was excellent and it was very affordable and the capsule was very spacious, I could keep my medium sized suitcase in the capsule (a large suitcase would've fit too) and the hostel is connected to a nice cafe.

The curtains, as other people have said, are thin. They should be black out. With their bedlights on, I could see people's silhouettes from the hallways. Sometimes the floors werent clean but you dont notice it because of the "industrial" floor style, and if they're dirty, they dont stay dirty for long. The two male staff were nice. The two female staff smile at you but they have a way of making you feel like you shouldnt ask them for help, i dont know, it's just a vibe. I had no choice but to trouble them anyway as google translate was failing me, but they eventually did really help me with directions on the bus stop and receiving my package from Nikka. No major dislikes here to be honest though!

Spacious clean and stylish, well-equipped kitchen/dining and hang out area on the ground floor. Free toothbrush (no toothpaste though), earplugs, eye mask.. excellent location. And the capsule/bed itself is damn spacious as far as hostels go.. the most spacious id ever been in. Apart from the security box, there was an entire other section in the bedspace on could put a ton if stuff in. The room itself is also spacious, there was enough space for everyone to stowe their luggage out of the way. I dont know why this has a low rating of 3.8 on Google at time of writing, but I was happy with my near-perfect stay here.

Room It could have a bigger safe for luggage and the rooms can be improved because it didn't looked like a room but like a capsule. The safe was too small to keep all the important luggage and you can only keep one small bag in it. The outer safe is wider and bigger but unsafe as anyone can enter the room through a moveable curtain

Staff was not overly friendly. Very polite though! But the whole atmosphere was more of a capsule hotel than of a hostel. Even though there are common spaces available (some kind of library + living space next to the kitchen) I personally felt the atmosphere to be a little bit "stuck". No one was interacting with each other. That being said: There is no need to do so, it's sometimes nice to be left alone. I just felt surprised by that.

Main reason I've booked this hostel was the availability of a late check-in. Staff allowed me to make myself a coffee after check-out in the kitchen, which I appreciated 👍 Separated area's for women (shower's, bathroom etc.). Everything is new and shiny and fancy, kitchen is especially great. Also there are hanger's in the shower which I was thankful for!
