I didn't really understand the garbage system , not so sure where to leave the food waste but apart from that all good.

The hostel was located really close to Nara Station and about 20 minutes walk to the Nara Park and Todai-ji temple. Plenty of clean kitchenware so we could have breakfast if we wanted to. Clean toilets and clean place. The staff was super super nice. We didn't really speak Japanese but they helped us to carry the luggage to our rooms and explain to us in a map what to visit in Nara, including some places where to spot the cherry tree blossoms! We asked to keep our luggage the next morning and for a small fee we could keep it with them until almost 3pm when our checkout was at 10am. That was really appreciated!

Since it is close to the train station and a big road, you will hear traffic/trains.

This hostel is conveniently located close to JR Nara Station and in walkable distance to Nara's top sights. All the facilities were very clean and well-kept! The owners are incredibly nice and easy to talk to and recommended a great restaurant to me for dinner. Would definitely stay here again!

Great owners, they did anything to help us when needed. The location is great, near the train station (about 6 min walk if you are slow). There’s a kitchen if you want to cook, and a place to eat.

The location was ideal to walk to Nara park, and the husband and wife owners (I'm terrible with names 😅) were incredibly warming and open when I arrived, and helped to call a restaurant when I needed to check my booking. My room was lovely, and this is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in!

The landlord is super nice and kind. I love Nara and wish to come back later. It is very close to the train station. Best location and price. The only sad thing is that I left my facial cleanser there.😂

A family owned hostel. Their English could be better but they compensate it totally with tons of tender. They really care for the wellbeing of guest. Also it’s so close to Nara station, it’s really convenient.

It was very empty, but probably just due to the low season

The host was super nice, and upgraded me for free to a private room with futon since he thought I wouldn’t fit in the bunk beds. The common room was very cute with aquariums and decorations.

The people were really nice. The location was also very good - central location, close to restaurants, convenience stores and walking distance to the train station. I really enjoyed my stay and will highly recommend it. I also got a little souvenir. Amenities were also clean. Thank you for hosting me :)
