Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThis is one of my favourite hotels I’ve stayed at. They have exceptional facilities and services. Staff were friendly to help with luggage transfer and any questions we had. Loved how close to a station it was and a short walk to shops. Really enjoyed the ramen and drinks service they provided back at the hotel. The private hot spring was quite nice too, worth the money.

CanadaExcellent value! The staff were excellent, they encouraged us to attend the lounge in the evening where you can get free drinks and free Raman... yes I said FREE to both, available every evening. The room was very tidy and comfortable bedding. Hot spring onsen baths, separate pools for men and women but private 2 or 4 person baths are available to book at a very reasonable rate. Convenient location for public transport with plenty of dining options nearby. Definitely would stay here again.

QatarLike: Very good location. Rooms are spacious enough, space is very efficiently used, and is very clean. Each evening there were drinks, ice cream and miso-ramen available for all hotel guests. We really enjoyed our time in the hotel and would recommend it. Dislike: Nothing.

CanadaWe actually stayed in a twin room with two beds. It was a bit cramped because we had so much luggage for the three of us. The onsen was in a different building so you have to walk across a small alley way outside. It would get scary if I wasn't with my whole family and I would assume it would be cold during the winter. Wished the free flow alcohol would shift later into the evening like till 9pm as we were always busy during the day to return for the free alcohol. A lot of people would buy dinner and bring it back during free alcohol and the tables would all be taken. A lot of people eat peanuts with their beer, so if your kids have peanut allergy, you need to watch out.
Children stays for free. My son loved the breakfast. Some people complain that its noisy and crowded in the eating area but if you are there with kids and family and a group of friends, its a nice cafeteria setting. No worrying about making too much noise. Location was close to transit which was great, and my son loved the onsen. Onsen and massage chairs got busy at night, but if you go in the morning, its very quiet and relaxing. Lego for borrowing for kids was a plus, and I like how they had all these kids items available.

AustraliaWe enjoyed our stay! Hot Springs were a huge highlight for my kids and I. Close to train station and shopping streets. Beds soft for Japanese standards. Breakfast was extensive and free soft drinks and alcohol great. Only downsides is it can be busy at breakfast, and the hallway noise can be heard at night with loud people coming in at all hours. We would stay again!

AustraliaThis hotel had a friendly vibe. Dining area was full of families and friendship groups enjoying drinks, food or playing games together. The public bath was refreshing with a massage chair to start or finish, or both. Location for walks was good but there seemed to be two trains for almost everything.

United KingdomGreat location next to subway station and within walking distance of Loop Line. The room was very spacious - onsen also great including sauna and cold pool. The free ice cream / drinks after 3pm are a decent freebie, even if it's just within the breakfast dining area.

CanadaVery noisy. Lots of guests in this hotel. Room space is probably bigger than common standard in Japan but is small if you are used to North America hotel size
Friendly staff. It offers more accommodating items to the guests such as plug converter. It offers a lot of free perks such as bike rental, ramen as late night snack etc.

SingaporeThe breakfasts were all the same.
Very convenience to go around the area. Near to the subway and walking 1-2km to link with few tourist attractions. End of the day, just take a train back to hotel.

AustraliaThe noise from the hallways and other rooms seemed quite noisy at times.
It was in a very convenient location. The beds were comfortable and the services were excellent. There was a free ramen each night (a different flavour for each night) and free drinks each day. There was an onsen too with your stay and they offered paid private rooms too which were super easy to use.
