Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaDuring my trip in Okinawa, this is the hostel I felt the most comfortable. Since it is pretty small, you get to know most people and the owner is super friendly. Amazing breakfast, free rental bike, so much included for the price!

AustraliaNothing!
It was so comfortable, felt like home. It was warm, clean, cosy. Everyone was really nice and I loved being able to cook in a fully equipped kitchen. As a solo female traveller, I felt really safe. It was also a great location, when you use the free bikes, there is a lot to do around the place! I stayed for three nights and wish I could stay for a week or two honestly. Also, the free home cooked breakfast is a great testament to the love and care in this place.

TaiwanThere is a bus stop nearby, but there are few buses and the location is a bit far.
1. Quiet 2. Cheap price 3. The hotel owner English very well, and introduces nearby attractions enthusiastically. He also plays guitar at night, so cool. 4. I had to take the bus, boss was willing to get up early to make breakfast. The breakfast was very delicious, and there were even blueberries and strawberries. 5. Clean and comfortable. 6. Free washing and drying clothes. 7. Free use of bicycles.

NetherlandsJust take into account that the hostel is far away from public transportation. The bathrooms are dated.
I loved this hostel! The owner and volunteer were very friendly and welcome, making me feel at home. The hostel also has free bicycles and snorkels for use, free breakfast and free washing. The beds are also very soft and comfortable. The area around is also nice, and you can use bicycles to get to beaches, and the owner drove us places and picked us up.

JapanStay here if you want the experience of a lifetime. Ryota san is one of the kindest host I've ever get to meet. He let us borrow the bikes, helped me get to the bus station, and kindly informed us about restaurants and sightseeing spots. The breakast was phenomenal with restaurant quality pancakes and sandwiches. Ryota-san even turnen off the lights and lent us yoga mats and blankets to lie down on the veranda and gaze at the stars. The best part is probably the electrifying vibrant energy of the live music played by other guests. I got to know incredible individuals and made so many memories here. Please come visit and experience for yourself.

I had the best stay of my trip so far thanks to Ryota ✨️ Comfy beds, human size hostel, clean bathroom. The breakfast, cooked by Ryota and changing everyday, is sooo good. Bikes and snorkeling gear available for free, which is super nice. Cool rooftop for nights without rain or wind ;) Castle, museum and pottery village nearby ; restaurants and cafés too. If you like to cook, the kitchen is available and a supermarket is close. The transfer service to the different buses are perfect 👌🏼 And of course the music nights are the little plus that make a stay incredible ! We had a super nice karaoke night, with lovely guests.

AustraliaStaff are super welcoming and helpful. I got driven to the bus stop multiple times and Ryota even drove me to the pharmacy when I was unwell. The culture of this hostel is fantastic, most of the guests and staff want to chat and play music together. There’s a cool rooftop to hang out on and bbq area. I’ll definitely be back! If you are in the area, you should definitely stay here!
