Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomVery dusty and there were some rubbish in the corner of the room that wasn’t cleaned up. This is a “love” hotel which I wasn’t made aware of when booking so some of the amenities were “love” related which was funny but also a bit creepy.
Lovely big room, great variety of amenities. Food was nice and cheap. Quiet.

United KingdomWe hadn’t realised prior to booking that this is a Love Hotel. That made it quite anonymous - no reception staff. Room paid for each day by credit card at room entrance. However it wasn’t at all seedy.
Spacious room with large bathroom. Lots of extras available in the room. Spotlessly clean.

ThailandBreakfast was supposed to be included. When we tried to contact somebody about it nobody picked up the phone. When we got to the unmanned front desk phone they said we would have to go back into our room to get breakfast. Too much trouble and we left. Of course, not being able to exit the room once you enter is not great either, but that is the nature of these hotels.
Big, clean modern room with lots of amenities typical of love hotels, even if that is not one's purpose.

United StatesI want to preface and say that I don't have a problem with this hotel - maybe my one feedback is that the fridge was a bit dirty and there were some areas of the shower room (door frame lining) that could have been a bit cleaner. But overall, it was really nice! My comment below is for non-Japanese travelers. If you are a foreigner unfamiliar with Japanese love hotels, you need to know how this hotel works, because it is not like a regular hotel. First of all, there is no reception desk - people go to love hotels for discreetness. But you can call the staff on any of the landlines around the building. Second, you need to check out of the room every morning, and you pay per day. There is a check-out machine stationed in every room (cash and credit are both fine). So don't unpack all of your things because you'll need to pack them up and store them or carry them during your trip. Third, I don't think this hotel allows kids, but if it does (or if you are just a bashful person), this hotel is for people who want a place to have sex. So there are some sex-related items in the rooms (vibrator next to the bed, adult videos on the TV, condoms, etc.). If you keep these things in mind and plan accordingly, you'll have a great time!
The facilities were nice and roomy. Many complimentary amenities for guests, including a variety of high quality soaps, shampoos and conditioners, free drinks (including free wine) and some complimentary items from room service. The room itself was incredibly clean - there were a few small areas that I would advise for better cleaning but they were quite minimal. It was a nice last minute hotel.

ArgentinaA little bit far away from Kurume central station but you can get there with the local train and then walk 1km.
Gigantic and comfortable room with everything you need to have a great night and relax. Really big rooms for Japanese standards and quite luxurious.

United KingdomI didn't realize it was a love hotel(my fault for not reading the reviews). For a big hotel, I was expecting that some staff would at least know how to speak English. The card they gave was not working initially so I had to come down and ask for help but the staff was hesitant to accompany me. In the end, I had to figure it out on my own. The hotel was quite far from the station so I had to walk a good 15 minutes( not advisable to do this at night as the streets are way too dark)
The room was big and luxurious. The staff who assisted me during checkout was amazing. She also helped me book a taxi early in the morning.

AustraliaWe stayed here because we couldn't get a hotel with parking in Fukuoka. We arrived in Kurume at around 4 pm but they couldn't let us in until 6pm, which is probably fair enough as it did say check-in starts at 6 although we do find 6pm check-in rather late. The room had a very odd shape. While the bathroom was well equipped and spacious, the bedroom was very narrow and there wasn't much space on either side of the bed. It said breakfast was included but when I tried to arrange it for 7:30, they said they only serve breakfast between 9am and 11:30. That is brunch, not breakfast! The last straw was when we decided to go to bed at around 10:45, we found out that the ceiling lights couldn't be turned off! They apologized but were not going to do anything about it until I demanded strongly in Japanese to put us in a different room. It took them more than half an hour to prepare another room for us, so we couldn't go to sleep until almost midnight and there was no apology the next morning! Don't stay here unless you are prepared to sleep with lights on right above your head!
We were high up and had a view over the town. The bathroom was large.

United StatesIt’s dirty, expensive, and AC is loud. Policy and and price do not match what is advertised online. My reservation says cost for one night stay is 6,682 yen for two adults but when we arrived, i paid over 11,000 yen plus 2,250 yen extra for extending 25 minutes because the checkout time from booking.com do not match the hotel’s policy. booking.com says check out time is 12:00 but i received a phone call at 11:00 reminding me that checkout time is 11:00. i highly don’t recommend this hotel Nd i will never ho again.
