Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PhilippinesHaving to go down to get water 😅 it's quite a hassle unless u don't mind boiling water or taking it as it is. I have allergies and maintenance meds so I pretty much need water everytime. The reception staff are not very fluent in english, I was about to check out and had four large luggages with no help, and I have been waiting apparently they did not understand or there isn't just a push cart available?? So I had to pay late fees because I left the room past the time (bec i kept waiting for someone to help me 🥲) but I know they are all nice. The bed is quite small esp when my partner is a tall person.
The reception area was very aesthetic and warm looking. The location was close to almost everything, very easy to walk to convenience stores, malls, train station and cafes, etc. The room was clean too :)

AustraliaThe pillows were filled with beans and quite hard. I woke with a very stiff neck. The bathroom was clean, but a bit cramped.
The room was bigger than an average double in Japan, so there was adequate room for our suitcases!

TaiwanNice people, cozy lobby, good free coffee and chocolate, love the lounge, perfect location, walking distance to everywhere, quiet
We are unfortunate be deceived by the two queen bed photo on booking.com. We only got one queen bed “standard double room” — double meaning for two people and kid stay for free. Not double beds!! Any way, it starts quite frustrating but the staffs are extremely polite and patient in explaining the room style of what I booked. I just wish there is a place to clarify room style before we book.

ThailandThe nearest subway station is Yabacho, which is not the most convenient for accessing many areas around Nagoya. You’ll need to walk to Sakae Station for better transportation options. While it’s walkable to the Sakae station, it takes some time. This isn’t an issue on the first day of our trip, but after a long day of walking, the return walk can feel quite tiring.
Easy check-in and check-out process. Great area to stay in, with several good department stores nearby. It’s just a one-minute walk to Yoshinoya and within walking distance to Parco and a smaller Donki. There is a park nearby where you can enjoy a relaxing walk. Most importantly, it is within walking distance to the Sakae main area, which is the main reason for staying here. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and quite proficient in English as well.

United StatesTwo laundry units for the whole hotel isn't enough, and it was annoying needing to go down to the lobby to check, or sit there and wait for other's 2hr wash+dry cycles to finish. The previous hotel I was at was a similar size, and had a laundry room on I think every floor. Also the automatic light in the toilet room was fairly bright, and the shiny toilet paper covers reflected the light right into my face. It was difficult when needing to use it in the middle of the night.
The room was modern, classy, and large compared to most of the hotels I've stayed at in Japan. The bathtub/shower room was large, with a full-sized bathtub, and the shower had several heads and functions. The separate toilet room and hallway sink area made sense. The bed was softer than most, and they included an electric massaging pad. Good control over the AC/heat, and the little air cleaner/humidifier came in handy. The price was good and the only downside was trying to get a spot in the two washing machines in the lobby.

PhilippinesThe night staff (a man) didn’t speak very good english & when we asked for a weighing scale he said there was none even if we spoke to him in japanese via google translate. We even mentioned that the lady at the reception said there was one but was hidden and they bring it out when you need it. He dismissed us without asking other staff.
The women at reception were very helpful during check in and check out. Near the train station. Near the malls and lots of small restaurants & konbini nearby. Can walk to almost all the places.

AustraliaThe reception is located on the third floor which the lift will stop every time, it's not pleasant but it's acceptable. The lift is a bit slow and need wait for a while as other guests mentioned already.
The hotel's location is perfect for our purpose--food, shopping and claw machine. You can go shopping then come back to put things back to hotel and go out again easily. For the way to the airport, we only used the train to the airport instead of bus, the way to the train is easy and has ramp or lift, but inside the train station there are stairs, so it's not very friendly for the luggage.
