Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyThe breakfast was very nice, but with having everyday the same hot dishes, it becomes very repetitive.
The hotel was small but very modern and organized. With its own laundry, it was very helpful for us as long-rate travellers. The staff was alsl very helpful, and the big shower with bathtub is always nice to have. The breakfast was very good.

United KingdomNothing! It was lovely!
The room was very clean and large. The location was central and the breakfast was good. We particularly enjoyed the pork for breakfast. Additionally, the local 7/11 is very close and easily accessible.

United StatesThe size of the rooms and that the breakfast was the same every day.
The restaurant was good but, they served the same food everyday, we stayed there for 6 days and had exactly the same every day. Rooms are extremely small, we couldn’t use our luggage, we struggled a lot with the size of the room.

SingaporeOne of the worst hotels I have stayed in. It was almost SGD300 per night but the room was so small that there isn’t even a small designated area (although this is common in Tokyo but this hotel is ridiculously small especially for the amount spent ) for luggage or proper table as it was taken up by the basin. Cleanliness was also terrible because the make up of the room was done poorly - trash on top of the bin & bathtub was never ever cleared (so I end up having to clear it myself) throughout the 7 nights which makes me feel extremely uncomfortable because Japan is known for its cleanliness. For the amount I paid, I could have top up more and stay in a much better hotel.

Spainbed was too rigid . the room let the light in , the curtains weren’t properly installed to avoid light getting in. the set up was weird with the sink in the bedroom. letters announcing the extra charge per hour for “late checkout”. unnecessary pressure. not willing to call taxi for guests. reusable shoes for guests. the hair drier wasn’t hot/powerful enough .

United StatesThe hotel has so many rules and they are posted all over the place with tape: lobby, guest rooms, bathroom. The hotel charges by the hour for late checkout and about $10/key for replacements. It was unwelcoming and tacky.
I stayed on the 13th floor which has higher ceilings and floor to ceiling windows. That was really nice and worth the extra price.

Hello! I really liked the location of the hotel, the rooms are very comfortable, the breakfast is great and the staff is very friendly! Nearby there is a metro station, a park, a lot of good restaurants nearby and Ginza street.

United KingdomThe room was extremely small (we know that it's gonna be small due to the prime location)...and again it's for almost all the hotels in that area -check out time is 10 am and check in is 3 pm -It's not the most accommodating rules. As it's not relaxing or comfy, we ended up spending very little time in our hotel room and value for money wise is rather not great.
The location was superb. Everything is within walking distance, and so convenient to travel from or to any other places in Tokyo as well. The room was extremely small, but it's tidy and clean. Also the staff were very nice and helpful. They kept our luggage for a few hours before check-in time and also for a whole day after we checked out.

Germany-
Very central location within Tokyo's Ginza district, easily reachable from Shimbashi Station or Ginza Station. The lovely Hamarikyu Park is a short walk away. The hotel's reception area is on the 2nd floor, accessible from a side street. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The room size is Tokyo-average, but the rooms are tidy. Very recommendable for sightseeing in Tokyo!

Brunei DarussalamNothing.
1) Breakfast - we love the Japanese buffet breakfast! It has good selection, including shabu-shabu. 2) Convenient Location - it is about 10mins walk to the Ginza station, 10mins walk to Tsukiji Market and about 2mins walk to Uniqlo Ginza. There are a lot of restaurants and bar options around the area too. 7/11 is in the same block of building as the hotel. When checking out, we got ourselves a taxi to Tokyo Station - a mere 6mins drive away - to take the Narita Express. 3) Room - it is, as expected, small, however, the furnishing is thoughtful. It’s a bit difficult to describe but the way the toilet door swings open to lock itself onto the “main room”, therefore giving more space to the toilet, impressed us! We also got freebies (which include free face masks) for opting not to have our room cleaned. The pajamas are so comfortable to wear too! 4) Elevator - not sure why this wasn’t more widely available at other hotels, but when you tap your room key card in the elevator, it instantly detects your room floor, so you don’t have to tap and then select the floor. A minor convenience improvement but perhaps under appreciated!

TaiwanI dont like the cleaness of the bathtoom of this hotel. It has bathtub in the bathroom, but i found that the bathtub is stuck by the hair. Also, the picture on the website looks large, but it acutally is really small. Also, i dont like the breakfast, it doesn't tasty but expensive

AustraliaThe room is quite small as I expected but surely we can make more space by moving or getting rid of some things. The coffee table and chair in the middle of the room take up too much space and make it hard to open my suitcase. The sink next to the bed is also in an awkward place.
The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to assist. Additionally, the adjacent convenience store is a convenient amenity that adds to the overall enjoyment of the stay. Moreover, the breakfast buffet is a delightful experience that is sure to please.

AustraliaIt's not an issue, but there was only 2 washing machines in the hotel and it was in the lobby floor. So it was just a bit awkward taking my laundry through the foyer pass reception.
Well presented hotel with all the amenities needed for a holiday. The team were helpful and friendly, and spoke English (which is always helpful to us non bilinguals). The rooms are very clean, a great size, effective layout, and comfy beds. Unfortunately we didn't get to try the breakfast but it looked amazing. Ginza was our first stop in our 2 week trip, and the location was great. Plenty of food around, plenty of shopping to get us started and easy to get to Tsukiji Fish Market and TeamLabs.
