Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

This hotel was in a perfect location, a brief walk from the metro station so easy to get to on arrival at Kyoto station. It was close to the main shopping and eating area, and within easy walk to transport to visit the other areas. The rooms were cosy but beautifully decorated and staff were very helpful. Onsen was great. Breakfast was extra cost but very generous and varied. Nice bar and the hotel restaurant was good and frequented by locals so had a nice atmosphere. This was a great 4 star hotel. We loved the little touches like the terrariums. They held baggage before and after check out too.

United StatesThe laundry room was very small, and the washer didn't was properly and the dry didn't give enough heat, after 90 minutes of drying clothes was still wet. The washer and dry need to be updates and additional machines are needed, 2 is just not enough for a big hotel like this. There was a line no matter the time.

The hotel was quiet with dark lighting which made it very cozy. The breakfast was tasty and dinner menu was also very nice. The evenings we used the public bath with was very relaxing to end the day perfectly.
