Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThere was a weird sound that happened at 6am both mornings that I was there. The reception is tiny, and it can be difficult if you have lots of luggage.
The receptionist was very nice. the room is very clean, as is the bathroom. location is great - I was able to just walk down the street and explore the Asakusa temple area at 7am and it was very quiet.

QatarI can't really think of anything, to be honest. That's how happy I was with my stay.
I absolutely loved the location, most of all! But the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating whenever I needed something. Despite putting DND on my door, they still thought to leave a fresh set of towel each day of my stay. Even the room was exceptional, the bed was comfortable and the washroom was clean. Also the fact that the hotel had an elevator was chef's kiss for me.

United StatesThere are some very small cosmetic issues with the room (some peeling wallpaper, stains on the carpet) but still clean and reasonable for the price.
The staff were incredibly nice and helpful and let me store my luggage there before my departing flight. The location is about a 5 min walk to the metro station that I used to get everywhere. Lots of free amenities (all shower supplies, robes, fresh towels daily, tea, a clothes steamer and kettle in the room). Greta value for a very low price, highly recommend.

AustraliaWe specifically requested a non-smoking room and while the check-in staff confirmed that we in fact did have a non-smoking room, it smelt absolutely terrible with all the plastic in the room a yellow colour indicating that it either has been, or still is a smoking room. Additional to this the bed was actually broken and dipped in the corner by about 10cm which had to be propped up by the hotel staff with two folded up blankets.
The location of the property was good and the staff were very friendly.
