Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Free drinks 24/7 (coffee, tea, etc) and Udon at night was nice! Comfortable beds, very clean and tidy.

South KoreaIt would be better if the bathroom is cleaned every nook and cranny.
It was close to the subway station and all the popular locations were less than 30 minutes from here. I stayed in twin bed room and the bed was spacious enough to have a good sleep. Everything I needed was well equipped in the room, such as a small fridge, a hairdryer, bidet, amenities etc. What we asked for was a few more hangers. All in all, I loved staying this hotel. :)

AustraliaCleanliness could be better as there were some parts of the toilet that needed extra cleaning. Walls are slightly thin - so you can possibly hear your neighbour. We heard our neighbour's kid crying at some point during the night.
Location - close to the train station, however, you'll have to drag your luggage for about 5 - 8 minutes. So keep that in mind. It's located in the off street, so relatively quiet. The room was generally ok - sized, able to fit up to 2 medium size luggages. Staffs were quite accommodating in providing extra pillows and helping us book a taxi too !

United StatesVery small room, a little pricey but I heard that that’s normal for Tokyo! A little bit, just the tiniest bit dirty in the room but I did notice it. And saw several bugs.
Very nice staff, very modern space, great location.

AustraliaIt is well known the rooms here are small at 11m squared. That said, take a small bag like the Japanese do and make use of the hotel toiletries supplied.
When I stay at this hotel it is for the location. Very handy to Kanda station and very quiet neighbourhood. I noticed the room had a fold out stool and desk this time that I didn't remember on my last trip in 2019. Good restaurant selection nearby in the evenings. Not so easy to find somewhere for breakfast. We missed the free drinks time, but saw people having free noodles in the evening. Staff were very helpful when we checked in and check out. They even made us an iced coffee one morning when it was super hot!

United StatesThe cleaning policy wasn’t the best. We stayed 2 nights and I was hoping to get a sheet change for night 2 and we could not because they only clean the rooms if you stay 4 nights.
It very close to the train station (about 7 minute walk) and there was a 7-11 and many nice restaurants nearby. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We had a delay in our flight landing in time to check in and they were very easily reached and we’re able to have a staff member wait for our very late arrival. the hotel had a happy hour and made noodles for free at night.

United StatesThe aircon was a little confusing to use - it may have been a power saving function so it would run for a while but eventually reset to the default temp which was a little too warm for the summer.
The room was decent sized with a comfortable bed and friendly staff. All day coffee, tea and water was a plus. The location doesn't have a whole lot in the immediate vicinity but there are a few different metro stops within a 10 minute walk which made it ideal for getting around quickly.

United StatesThe rooms were incredibly tiny. Not unusual in major urban centers like Tokyo but surprising even to a New York City dwellers such as myself. The beds were large and comfortable but they took up literally almost the entire room. There was no closet to hang your clothes and maneuvering inside the room with two people was very very tight. If you are a bit claustrophobic I would recommend upgrading to one of the larger rooms if they are available
The staff was incredibly helpful and very generously agreed to hold our luggage for three days while we were off visiting someplace else. Not everyone speaks English but those that did were amazingly helpful. The rooms were, in typical Japanese fashion, very clean and neat with lots of places to plug-in our electronic devices. They had a saki and plum wine available for guests in the lobby after 5 PM and a coffee machine in the lobby which was available 24 seven. They even had a place in the lobby where you could get complementary udon noodles. We did not try that but the drinks were fantastic.

United StatesThe rooms were extremely small and a double was the exact same size as a single. I did not expect that. The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable in the first room we were in.
I enjoyed the free coffee & tea in the lobby as well as the free udon noodles in the evening. It wasn't far from the Kanda train station. The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful.
