Already update host late check in but not respond. When i arrived at property around 11 PM nobody at receptionist..try calling the tel no. But no answer… I press the bell many times until ke staff come.. i think the staff sleeping.

Very nice attendant. Very clean, rooms are made up every day. Showers, bathroom, always clean. Nice Japanese style room, my friend had back pain because of the futon, the attendant kindly provided spare blankets to make it comfortable, we slept very well. Calm yet very close to Kyoto station, very good location. Everything was great, may be the showers (2 for all the rooms) were too few, but during 3 days, I only had to wait once. I'd definitely come back, I recommend for anyone staying in Kyoto!

Was worried because my trip to Kyoto was kind of last minute and during peak season for spring, but thankfully there was a room available here and for a reasonable price. The location was insanely convenient — a short walk from Kyoto Station and right beside (maybe a minute) from the nearest bus station. The manager was super kind and accommodating the whole time and made the place feel less like a commercial inn and more like a homey dorm. Timing can be tricky with the shared shower rooms, but they were very clean and well-maintained. There is a Lawson nearby but since the location is so convenient, there are always a lot of people there and items get sold out at night. Lastly, they had additional facilities not listed here, such as a communal hairdryer, several shared sinks in the hallway, potable running water, and fleece blankets in the closet that can keep you warm but also double as a pillow if you sleep with them folded up. Highly recommend this place and would stay here again.

Loved the place. It was nice place, close to the Kyoto station. Older man was amazing, always welcomed back and used other japanese sayings when leaving the hotel for sightseeing. Felt like coming home. Probably will stay again in this hotel if I ever get back to Kyoto. Just a fair warning, voices can be heard from the hallway quite well through the door. So if you are a light sleeper it might bother you.

Nothing, everything was great!

The location was perfect for walking around shopping districts and very close to the station. The traditional Japanese room was an excellent experience that is definitely worth it! When I visit again I will be staying here again.

Can be a bit noisy if all rooms are occupied.

Great location, less than 10 mins walk from Kyoto station, making it easy to get to any location via train or bus. Room is minimal in terms of facilities but spacious for Japanese standards. Owner is friendly and helpful, although He could hardly speak in English. Overall its excellent value for money.

No breakfast. Central Kyoto, very close to the Kyoto Station, bus stop a very short walk. Comfy and efficient room. Shared bath and shower were super clean. Did laundry for 250 yen a load. Front desk man was a gem, super helpful and upbeat. It was budget, and I would stay here again.

Showers were only on the first floor, so those staying on the second floor need to walk down to bath. Also, there are only 2 showers for the entire place, so if the place is fully booked, please be prepared that you'll might need to queue to bathe.

The rooms are clean, and the location is super convenient as it is within 5 minutes from Kyoto station. There are also laundry facilities in the hotel. The owner (an elderly but fit uncle) is super friendly and warm. I like how he is trying to learn how to converse in English, and asks guests for tips. To guests planning to come here, please guide him a little bit in English, he'll appreciate it! Also, room was available despite us arriving early, and the owner allowed us to check in early.

The tatami mat bed was too thin for my soft western bones but the landlord let us have a second layer but even that was hard.

Dur to the building it’s not 100% sound proof. Light sleeper should use ear plugs.

Small but very clean accommodation. Very close to the Kyoto main station. You can literally walk underground to the hotel.
