The internet in the room was mostly unusable There was no safety deposit box available, even for hire There is absolutely no storage in the room and nowhere to even put the luggage - this became quite difficult after 4 nights. I would suggest installing some shelves/ a small wardrobe.

Room was quite small but sufficient as solo traveller.

The breakfast was amazing. They provided several options including vegetarian. Luggage storage was also possible before check-in and after check-out. Staff was really nice. Cool and modern design.

Excellent value for what you pay for. Great breakfast, all vegetarian. The location was very central for getting to all sides of Kyoto which was a good thing on the whole. However, it's not right by any one thing so you'll have to use transit. The room is bare bones and a tad on the small side, but again a great value.

We need a little bit more room for our luggage because we did not want to put our suitcase on the mats and damage them.

The room is very clean, the beds on the master, very comfortable, and the quilts were exceptional. Nice air-conditioning in the room, just a little challenge with room for luggage. It was manageable, but a little tight. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

Very modern and clean, they are conscious about the environment and avoid overusing ustensiles and plastic. There is also free sake to test and the 3 of them were really good during our stay (they rotate the selection). I’ll definitely try to go back again next time!

The hotel is fabulous. We slept in Japanize style room with tatami . The room was clean and big. The Staff is great. The breakfast is fantastic! They have welcome sake drink every day and night. They provide some extra lesson in the mail hall in the evening for example calligraphy. Caffe , tea and water is for free in the main hall. There is very tourist friendly atmosphere, very modern and Japanese style, cleanness and necessary. The location is great - close to underground/metro station and bus stop - 10 min to Kyoto attractions. Lots of restaurants and bar in close surroundings I felt like I never want to leave this place and I prolonged my stay 2 times. I would come back to this hotel with big pleasure.

Excellent. I like the location. The hotel design is minimal and clean. Very comfortable lobby with seatings for chilling out. Free wifi. Extra pillows are available on every floor. Bathroom is spacious. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel is also very responsive when I messaged them. They were helpful with my lunch reservations and luggage forwarding service. I enjoyed my stay here. It’s a very comfortable stay.

The staff is incredible here they are super friendly and helpful. They off free shots of sake and even had a class on Saturday on how to the do Japanese caligraphy which was super cool. Breakfast was also really good! Definitely would recommend this one!

We were not fond of the breakfast, but that's just our Westerner's tastes, nothing to do with the quality of the ingredients.

The location and architecture of the place makes this hotel a fantastic choice. We were a family of 2 adults and 2 children and really liked the tatamis family room option. The bathroom was extremely clean and modern.
