- Expensive - Not very social - Considering the cost it's not the best service e.g. you can't use the shared space after checkout (which is quite early), no proper luggage storage, no free tea or coffee

- Spacious pod and very clean hostel - Close to the station

The room wasn't sound proof , when groups of people came for checkin at night it was little bit noisy, also if you bring large suitcase it could be hassle since no elevator available, but other than that everyting is great.

Staffs are friendly and helpful, they gave me free tram ticket for 2 rides and help me to print some papers for free. I like the bunk ceiling is high and not to cramped (i even can stand in my bed bunk ), and alll the facilities are sparkling clean and modern

The host was so friendly and helpful. Even if I checked out they was so kindly to allow me leave my luggage at hostel. I can pick it up later in daytime.

Superb friendly services that hard to find from others. - Good view in front of Toyama land mark. - Share bath room with private section, unlike those old hostel that really share sale room bathing. - Clean & comfirt, hotel alike

Hostel stays on 4 fl., no elevator, not good for carry big luggages (understand mostly are bag pack), but hotel owner willing to help. - Improve or clean hostel's main entrance area & common stair way for a better impression, (understand it hard to manage), but it coused some scare to climb up without sign along the way.

Super friendly services that hard to find from others, while mostly using self services or by request. - Provate room has a very clean & comfort similar to hotel - Share bath rooms have separated section for each person, not really share bath like those old hostel. - Good view in front of Toyama land mark.

It is my favorite hostel I stayed at in my whole one-month trip. As I wanted to experience the hand-made glass cup workshop in the city, the staff made a call for the reservation for me! The staff is really friendly and also didn't mind I had dinner with them. I will certainly visit the cute hostel again :)

I have to mention how much I was impressed by the setup of the place. there were helpful signs everywhere in a decorative style, the place was colourful rather than boring white. the beds themselves were spacious to the point I could stand. the staff was friendly and helpful. I never got bored of watching the light turn on as I open the toilet door and for the toilet seat to rise open.

Walls are super thin and you could hear every single sound. Ground shakes a little when people walk around in the corridor when lying in bed.

Room was very big and kitchen is comfortable to use.

The stay in Iruka hostel was quite enjoyable and it is just near the Toyama station. The hostel was clean and design was really nice creating cozy atmosphere. The stuff was very friendly and kind.

This hostel was one of the best hostel that I visited! Staff was super kind :) One of the happiest moment in Toyama city. I highly recommend this. (Trust me, I visited more than 30 countries and have lots of experiences of using hostels haha)

Nothing to add here. Iruka met expectations.

Iruka is quirky, arty, characterful and fun. Unlike hostels of the past it exudes charm, as do the young ones who run it. Better than a hotel if you like sharing and self catering.. Interesting travellers to meet and chat with.

You would need earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The walls made from plywood and they are very thin.

Clean place, big kitchen and a lovely library full with Huraki Murakami books in several language. Good location not so far from the station as well.

safety storage space is a bit tiny and it was a little lower than an overhead compartment. so it might be a bit hard if u have heavy stuff to store.

they even had a weighing scale, cute. shower facilities were great.

Mattress is not the most comfortable but i had worse, and for just one night is good enough!

The staff is super friendly! The hostel looks pretty cool and the dorms are made as capsules but with a lot more space inside (i could stand on the bed!)
