Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

JapanWe booked a room for 3 people but it only came with 2 single beds or what they call twin bed but it does not fit 3 adults. We had to call since it’s an unmanned hotel, but they weren’t very flexible on trying to fix the problem. In the end, as i kept insisting they finally gave us a futon bed..
The hotel was in a good location. The rooms were clean and a decent size.

Hong KongThe room is newly furnished and clean. The only downside is that the room is a bit tiny and lacks a balcony where you can dry the diving gear, but all this comes at a cost. The location is excellent; it is close to the pier and restaurants, yet quiet at night.

Hong KongNot a complaint, but, prior to check in at 15:00, somewhere to leave our bags would be useful.
We found the room very clean and with extremely comfortable beds. The shower room and toilet were great, and the air-con worked very well. We also liked the kitchen facilities and the tatami seating area.

RomaniaIt is specified in the hotel info but the only parking we managed to find was close to the ferry port. The cost per night is between 1200-1500 yens depending on the hours. The fact that the main room has an extractor makes it a bit strange with the climatization system. If you stop the AC and the extractor during the night the temperature rises a lot and the humidity becomes unbearable. If you keep everything running you'll wake up with a headache. I was pretty much turning it on and off during the night.
Very good location. It was clean and comfortable. The place is close to everything (within walking distance), restaurants, shopping areas, nightlife. The shared kitchen is very well equipped and very useful if you want to prepare and have a meal there.

Spainyou need to do a self check in and check out, everything is with codes on the doors, (the code from my room was the same as for the main door) fortunately Japan is very safe as there is no staff in the accommodation. There is an additional building next to the room I think is just half finished, the kitchen is very nice for some self cooking but the building needs better care and decoration. however we did enjoyed more than one night and for breakfast also .
The room size is very good for Japanish standard, very good value for the money paid, the location is convenient, close to the main streets but far enough for good sleep at night since the street is quiet.

The reception was super responsive and super helpful. I really can only say thank you to them as they were helping out massively during the typhoon. Other than that it’s just a nicely decorated hotel room.

United StatesWe rented two rooms, and one was nicer than the other. Certain amenities were not available/working in one room (e.g., tissues had not been replaced, the soap dispenser was broken). It was not a huge deal, but we noticed it since we had another room to compare. The more "neglected" room was also at the top of the building, on the western side of the building, in the middle of summer.... so, pretty hot. Eventually the AC was able to cool the room, but it took a long time.
The beds were very comfortable. The hotel was clean, with pretty decorations, and the location was convenient, safe, and cheap! The rooms were quiet (I did not hear other guests).

RomaniaThere is one aspect I didn’t like: they didn’t communicate that the kitchen was closed. As we could see in the pictures on Booking, there was such a space where you could make a coffee and have a sandwich in the morning. When we got there, the area (situated on the top floor) was closed. A minor inconvenience, but it’s good to know before arriving, given the fact that there is no kettle to prepare coffee or tea in the room.
The location was the highlight for us. The hotel is situated in a quiet area, with many restaurants nearby and within walking distance (around 15 minutes) to the port and bus terminal. The local market, a Family Mart location (5 minutes walk), and a public laundry (2 minutes walk) are also nearby. We loved the spacious and very comfortable room. Although the overall cleanliness was good, there were some areas where dust had accumulated and hadn't been cleaned off (this is a problem that we encounter often in hotels in Japan 😊 almost like a tradition, already). The hotel doesn’t have any staff on-site, and you can contact them via an app. For us, it was as if they were there! The staff were friendly and always ready to assist us with any requests we had and answered quickly to our messages. Even though the room is big, the only storage space is a couple of hangers in a corner, but this was not a problem for us as we never take all our clothes out of the suitcases when we travel.

United StatesI'm not sure there was much of anything I didn't like. The room had a refrigerator and there's a Family Mart right by it so that was great. There's also a lot of shopping a short walk away. All good. No parking on the site and the lot they directed us to was closed but there was plenty of parking right by the lot so even that wasn't bad.
It was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom was great.

GermanyIt was really really nice, the room was clean and comfy, they were giving us fresh towels every day and they were answering fast questions. What we really loved was that there was a common room for using and it had things for also cooking (perfect for cutting fruits etc) and big tables in case you have games etc. It was a great spacious place to relax (shown in the photo).
