Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nothing I didn’t like, other than the bar prices, they seemed quite excessive for a couple of drinks.
Location was brilliant. Hotel itself was very good, the room was bigger than I was expecting which was a bonus. All the staff were absolutely excellent. My Japanese was poor but they were super accommodating and supportive. Finally, I especially loved the pj sets left in the room!

The laundromats unfortunately looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time so I had to clean mine before using.
The rooms were so comfortable and they provided pijamas which was a very nice touch. The view nice of the city and overall just a very nice hotel.

Not too sure why, but there was a bit of condensation in our room… we put on aircon dry mode to try to stop it, but the windows were still foggy in the morning… and we noticed because of previous condensation, there were a few moldy spots…
Amazing hotel! Lounge, bar/ restaurant… super cozy. Even the laundry is cozy. The location is great. We arrived early and our room was ready. Standard check out at 12 is also a plus. The bed was comfortable and they provide clean pijamas every night, fantastic! Nice city view from the window.

The design and style of the place was so warm and welcoming. Food was impeccable. I was excited for breakfast every morning. Location is great. And the staff was so polite and welcoming. I can’t wait to go back.

We enjoyed our stay at Zentis. The room was much bigger than expected and the bed was the most comfortable of our whole trip in Japan. It's in a decent location in the northern part of the city, around a 7min walk to the nearest metro and a 15min walk to one of the larger train stations. They have a complimentary tea and coffee station in the reception area.

Breakfast menu was a bit limited. Nice but limited.
Smaller that chain hotel. More personal touch and feeling. I usually stay at ANA Crowne Plaza nearby but this experience is far more pleasant. I had a meeting in the 2nd floor bar area and the staff were excellent and even turned the music down to help us hear each other.

We had a great stay at Zentis Osaka. The hotel is perfectly located, within walking distance from main Umeda attractions,close to train/metro stations and convenience stores, in a lively neighbourhood with loads of high rated restaurants. However the hotel is quiet, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and our room (Studio) was very spacious. I would definitely recommend Zentis for a hussle-free stay and in Osaka.

The restaurant didn't have any Japanese cuisine options, the vegetarian options were also minimal.
Cleanliness of the rooms! Large, comfortable beds. Room sizes are big enough for two people to not feel cramped. Cocktails in their lounge were fantastic. Having 24hr reception is nice and the lounge area near reception is relaxing, clean. Free tea/coffee station is another nice perk. The reception was lovely enough to allow us to check in early when our room was ready.

Loved this hotel! It is gorgeous, very chic and modern with ample space and great facilities. Only stayed for one night as we were moving cities, but would happily have stayed longer and will certainly return. Location-wise it’s a short walk from Osaka station, which is perfect for getting around, with plenty of amenities nearby - convenience store, places to eat etc. Room was gorgeous - super comfortable bed, space to rest/sit/eat, a humidifier, lovely pyjamas and slippers, beautiful bathroom/shower and toilet - we had a normal double room. Really lovely and we were looked after well!

This was an amazing, spacious option in Osaka. The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful with any requests. The hotel itself was well decorated and felt luxurious. The room was the best part, with clean facilities and a large area for suitcases and belongings. Would definitely recommend staying here.
